this is basically the season the pistons started fallin apart, and chauncey started carrying them, with rip supporting him with some scoring but otherwise they were thin...BUT, lebron traveled on the dunk that made it 99-98, he took 3 steps, and that was a key basket not only for that game but for that series...the call is made, pistons close em out n win the game n take a 3:2 lead and probably win the series...so that year the nba was fucked up in every side of the game...

@illman300 you make it seem like bad calls on key baskets don't happen all the time. you ignore lebrons TOTALLY clutch performance and go straight to picking apart so-called flaws in his game. kobe, often called the greatest, travelled on 4 game winning shots in the finals games he played and shoots only 28% on game winning shots, but nobody remembers thos games....i wonder why

@BallsAndAdick im not picking on lebron here im just sayin detroit shouldve won. and kobe hasnt even hit 4 game winning shots in the finals much less travel on 4 of them. idk who calls him the greatest which hes not but hes no doubt top 10 all time. he hits a lot of them, he also misses a lot of them but you have to consider how tough most of those shots are and he takes them 90% of the time lakers are in that situation, lebron doesnt even take them, he hides like he did in finals

@MrJivanFernandez because its the FINALS, if you win you are the champion, its the biggest stage and the most important games in the nba and the players lives...its where stars and greatness are made...are we supposed to talk about regular season games? real stars elevate their game, those who are not crumble under the pressure...thats why we talk about the finals

@illman300 Sure, but it gets truly annoying. It's like his carrier consists of the finals. LeBron said by himself that he didn't play well, so I'm pretty sure he plays a lot better because of this motivation.

@MrJivanFernandez carrier? ill assume you meant career, and yes, his career kind of do depends on the finals, a championship is what truly makes you great and performing well in the finals makes you a legend, but lebron played like the best player UNTIL the finals, then played badly for his standards and was barely a role player in the 4th quarter...see the fact is you cant be the best if you tend to disapear when it matters most, we bring it up cuz people still say he is
