It's funny to see how they changed this Elza into Claire, they made her hotter and put someone with a connection to the first RE. Cool to see what would become the real game later... And it's a marvelous track as usual in the first REs
I'm glad they cut out the man-spider and the gorillas. they are a little ridiculous in my opinion. and this theme was in RE2 too, but in the factory, not in the UG lab guys.
@macee17 It's just what I thought when I was watching it. There's also the crocodilles, I thought interesting to see these different monsters in the game, but it's all ridiculous for sure!
@BlueBlazer89 Uhhhh.no. The PSN sucks, you get what you pay for. Also, kid? Going by your name you were born in 89'. I am older than you. Nice try. I am financially independent and have plenty of money.
@BlueBlazer89 Look guy I'm wasn't trying to start a stupid Youtube insult volley. I was just commenting on your 360 comment (that was clearly trolling that guys comment). You started insulting people, not me. A hypocritical troll the worst kind....
Spread the word for a RE2 & RE3 Remake version for PS3 aswell as the Wii Consoles, With ones nagging One might get ones attention at Capcom although they proberly had such Comments from ones Begging
They have used this song! When you you are walking/running to the Train! Which going down to the laboratory! :D My faqvourite music :D 5/5 thx for upload!
i wish they would release this game because during development on RE2 this was gonna be the game but they scrapped it. they should release a full game of this i wanna fight the man spider!!!
There's this grand scrapyard that includes this crematory facility with 2 tall exhaust shafts that reach high in the sky (Something out of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory), the whole vicinity's gotta be a least a mile and a quarter long:
Every time I drive through that area, I'm either in the Marshalling Yard or I'm touring Saddler's factory via the multi-directional on-rails platform. : D
Me too. I friggin' love the Marshalling Yard theme. Definitely my favorite tune from Resident Evil 2.
Whenever I would hear this song whilst playing the game, I would think of Kyle Reese's, the Connor's and the Terminator's climatic stand against the odds from the first 2 Terminator films. I think that's what makes the Marshalling Yard piece so brilliant as well as how Capcom was able to incorporate it into the genre of cinematic horror.
Hey Everybody! I have just released my new electronic album “Sub-Zero” which is heavily influenced by the world of Resident Evil and the music of Masami Ueda and other RE composers. If you're interested you can listen to the full album on my youtube channel, as well as download the album for free!
This soundtrack is pretty great, although it was only used in one area in Resident Evil 2, it has more of a lonely, desolate area where the unknown surrounds it.
Oh, I get it. They took the characters they were planning on using in 1.5 but couldn't (Marvin and Robert) and decided to give them their final sending off in 2.
As far as I know "Dead Police Station" wasn't the official name of this song when it was used in the original RE 2 (with Leon and Elza). So Marshalling Yard cound've been its original name from the very beginning.
BTW - this is the only track that made it from original to the new version of RE2 (with Claire instead of Elza)
@r3miPL not true. the song played during hunks mini game was in RE 1.5. also the song that's played in the lab locked with the two finger prints is as well.

I wish they would release all versions available remade for download on 360. Something like what they did with the gamecube.

Elza was going to be an RPD officer?
SergeantLuke 11 months ago
@SergeantLuke No, Elza was just an ordinary college student, she came to Raccoon city to look for a loved one.
DaFan86 11 months ago
@DaFan86 Yeah, I thought so. The only reason I asked is because the first image shows her wearing what appears to be an RPD uniform.

this should play in the labs!

It's a shame that Capcom didn't released this game. =/
