  • oh man, totally had this album...

  • I went to the New year day Concert in New york and was crying when they did this song

  • Ricky's line "No matter where no matter how..." reminds me of "Is This The End" "Momma told me one day it was gonna happen but she never told me when"

  • New Edition closed Detroit's New Year's Eve concert with "Home Again," and it was an emotional moment. All 6 members were present, and they gave an unforgettable performance.

I'm still trying to come down off that high nearly 24 hours later! Just had to listen to this again. Thanks for posting, Midn1ght09. ~~

  • This was a great song i use to play it over and over in my walkman player.

  • I love this song and album...but whats with the picture of ABC in the video?

  • RICKY!

  • I AM A HUUUUUGGGGGE NEW EDITION FAN!!! I have every album ever made, if they make one AGAIN I'll buy that one as well. This is REAL SINGING TALENT!!! Say what you want about their personal lives these MEN have talent and are being copied as I type.....FAKE WANNA BE SINGERS!! Young folks need to learn their place and pay homage to the REAL singers :-)

  • The second guy that sings is that Ricky or Bobby?

  • @TonyGonzo1988 Bobby B...One of his best vocals on a NE song.

  • @TonyGonzo1988 Bobby

  • you ain't got bobby in that picture. It's not new edition. it's 5 guy missing a sixth. you can't be voltron without the head.

  • these dudes killed this track!!!! very underrated!!!!

  • I have been a New Edition fan since 1984.

  • mcneal78 My bad, Thanks for correcting me. However they were on thier way and had a verge of making it even bigger than what they were. Don't get me wrong I'm a New Edition fan 4 life I just hate it when other people try to get rid of people for unkown reasons. I will always listen to this group over many other groups that are out there. Along with Hi 5 and Dru Hill.... I'm just sayin......

  • when i first heard this i cried for their last album at the time they put everything into it.

  • Man, I have always been a NE fan. This is the NE I have enjoyed for 33yrs. I am glad my boy Bobby B. harmonized on this track.

  • i love this song!! so beautiful!

  • Saw them at Essence this past weekend in New Orleans, OFF DA CHAIN!!!! ALL SIX WERE TOGETHER AND AMAZING!!

  • I love this song !

  • They need to be on unsung for a 3 hour special. I hope TV one is tuned in on this rite now.

  • @CinnaXXX No way. Unsung is about artists that were ON THEIR WAY AND ON THE VERGE of making it big until something happened to cut their rise short. They were one of those groups that were fortunate to make it big. I saw their story on VH1's Behind the Music around 2004 i believe. That was a better story. They're one of the few groups (if not, the only one) to have all members go solo (or branch off to another group: BBD) and go platinum.

  • This song makes me think about my former best friend whom I have not spoken to in over 4 years. I miss her so much. I wish we could be best friends again.

  • Bobby should be in this pics!

  • new edition is the absolute best. nothing more needs to be said. (oh and this song is freakin' beautiful.

  • thet were meant 2 sing 2gether

  • I remember when i had this cd back in the day. I was in LOVE with ronnie!

  • Wow that was a year ago I said that and I come back and its still up there. Music just seems to get worse by the year and it's all by design. Our childrens, children will be drones by the time they are finished with music, nothing unique about them. Humanity is dying.

"If music is hurtin, then the people are gonan be hurtin" - Mos Def

  • i've been away for much too long... i hope you still feel i belong.. i didn't mean to cause you pain... nothin to lose, much more to gain...... can you stand the rain?

i can't change what happened in the past, and won't promise this time it will last... can' you stand the rain?

so.... on the story goes... and heaven only knows... the road of life will turn... a lesson we will learn.

  • love this joint!

  • LoL @ the picture of ABC (Another Bad Creation) at 3:05

  • If yall gonna bring Bobby "Crazy-ass" Brown back then yall needes to get rid of Johnny "How U Doin' Gill. And then it will really be Home Again.!

  • @joohsay I gotta disagree man. Johnny is just as much a part of NE as Bobby Brown is. I still think that Heartbreak was one of their best albums ever.

  • @bigbaldpapa. Johnny is an outsider that everyone looked pass, bc his How U Doin ass could really sing. I give him that.lol I am offended by the rumors that he wants to get rid of two of the original members of the group. Mike and Ronnie. That just cant happen. I would rather see Johnny punk ass leave vs the other two. Bobby Brown actually sounds good when he is playing well with the other boys and girls. lol

  • @joohsay I do have to agree that it would be sweet to see the original NE (Ronny, Bobby, Ricky, Mike and Ralph) back together. You know when them boys are on, they are on. Still, lotta respect for JG. He brings it every time.

So, what is this mess I am hearing about an new BBD? Album? Or is this just rumors?

  • @bigbaldpapa... presently, i havent heard any rumors about a BBD album.

  • Bobby Brown sounds good when he plays well with all the other boys and girls.

  • this song = greatness personified.

  • one of the greatest songs, it pretty much explains the groups' break up to fans.

  • A classic. I LOVE this song. A perfect fit for their voices. Who is there today than can compare? Nobody.

  • This is my all time favorite

  • Love the pic too!

  • Hearing this song is kinda saddening. I was thinking when I heard this, that that we had NE back. But, then they hooked up with Puffy, and that was pretty much the stop sign in their return! Heard them in an interview talking about how they anxious to get away from the Bad Boy label (cuz Puffy was shady!). Also, they never really caught on with the younger generation of music listeners. Still, "Home Again" is truly a great album! Was hoping their re-emergence would be long-lasting, but...

  • @jarbon5 whyy theyy stopedd singinn anyways?

  • @g00ng0newild123 I just found out recently (last night really) that they're still performing. New Edition has hooked up again and are performing as the "Heads of State". From what I've seen of them, they are quite popular. Glad to see that they're still doing their thing:)

  • @jarbon5 YEP ERR THANG PUFFY TOUCHES TURNS 2 GARBAGE....SAD

  • @fartmanscatman So true:(

  • @fartmanscatman .. yeah pretty much.lol

  • I can't belive for the life of me why this song wasn't a single. This is the best song New Edition ever recorded. Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis.. need I say more, except..

    R E A L M U S I C

  • We Need to bring the real music back!

  • I love Bobby and Johnny's part.

  • @kisharenee122188 i agree bobby and johnny got the best lyrics in the song and they killed it

  • @dess890 they do kill it dont they lol

  • I don't even listen to new RnB....give me the 90's

  • I had this CD and wore it out. It was excellent! This was the first single, I think, and it is a classic.

  • dont bring religion in... just because you dont like the music it has to be the devils work... what an asinine statement... just like a bible thumper....

  • love this song brings back soo much memories

  • You all there a lot more out there that would make a good tour as well as halftime at any sporting bowl event. What I get sick of is entertainment execs trying to tell us about our music. We need to standup and take it back. People if you can get groups together and start buying stock in some of these record companies. Take them over and bring back the real r&b.

  • k...and on so the story goes...

  • nice smooth sound. ;)

  • brings back a lot of memories..

  • Thank you sooo much for posting this.. I've been waiting for this song to come on youtube for soo long!

  • R&B is so wack now. Trey trying to make profanity and singing sound good. It aint him though. It's the devils that cut his checks that tell him to do it. Look what's happening to our beautiful black music.

  • @ObamaTheRealLoser You are so right. But it is not just Trey,Mr. Raymond is doing the samething. Look at the lyrics to "Lil Freak". Is it necessary that we know these 'young men sexual practices just for them to get a hit song? Be it I am a mature Afro-American I say no its not.

  • @Lordinvdious Yeah it's a silent weapon. It's all subliminal. Our youth will be the ones that suffer. Hell, they already are to the likes of Waka Flocka and other mindless rappers. It's sick.

  • @ObamaTheRealLoser My brother and I not long ago was schooling his daughter on what real music is. It seems the only thing you need now is a beat machine, audiophone, a catchy hook and a beat maybe someone to gyrate around. Instant hit. What happen to lyrics that meant something?

  • @ObamaTheRealLoser I feel U man.

  • @ObamaTheRealLoser You may think im attacking but really its not black music, white music, its beautiful music. Men who have awesome voices that you don't hear anymore. These kind of talents I have total respect for. Today's music, I don't think could ever EVER hold a candle to what we heard from the 80's and 90's when it comes to this genre of music.

  • this album is hot the best, real R&b

  • Man this right here truly gets you back in touch with who you are as a person and puts love in perspective. Love you wifey and I'm so sorry baby love. I love you and I wish that I could take back everything I did.

  • Ralph almost sound like Michael Jackson in the beginning of this record. Classic! NE 4 ever!

  • These guys need a Superbowl Performance!!!

  • Amen to that!!! I'm tired of seing old White Men @ Half Time during the Super Bowl lol, No disrespect. But if Brown Bomber and Everybody a Medley of they hits, that shit would be gangsta. But the networks and the NFL won't let anybody relevant or urban artist do the Half Time no more after Justin and Janet.

  • New Edition are safe. The wild card would be Bobby. How would he act? He's matured, and I think he and the guys would electrify the crowd and provide some family fun for half time. NE as a brand is not risqu'e .

  • OOOOH! That would be TOOO good!!!!

  • Dude! What an Idea! Dude. That would be the ishhhht! What about a New Jack extraveganza with Guy, NE adn who ever the hell else we can think of? Shoot, its a good idea!

  • An NE, Guy, Jodeci and Boyz II Men extravaganza would result in more people paying to see the half time show than the actual game

  • @Hatergirl904 I agree with you on that! They need to bring some old school talent. Most of these superbowl acts can be wack. Like that incident that happened with Justin Timberlake & Janet Jackson.

  • Thanx for posting this . Takes me all the way back to 12 years back when life was gud . Miss all my homies .

  • the best song they ever done! bobby did the damn thang. jonny was off the chain. when he sang 'Will our story end

    Like a fairy tail

    Or just another heartbreak

Only time will tell' man! makes u emotional the he sings it.

  • they killed this song. I remember this in 1996 laying in my bed when I was 26

  • Bobby and Johnny killed this song!!!!!!

  • Thanks sooo much for adding this classic!! Great Music!
