Bobbyjudo (is it real name) ate Natto, although he doesn't like it. He is a courageous young man! You might know this already, people from Osaka area usually hate Natto, I don't know why. I like natto, and I'd eat it with rice, the most common way to eat Natto. Have you tried it with Japanese carry rice? It is not bad. BTW, what is "BJ day"?

lol natto ... i grew up eating natto w rice not by itself or with carrot cake lol... and from my experience natto is not a type of food you eat for the first time cuz no one ever likes it... and for the raw eggs, try having rice with natto and raw eggs mixed around..i don't mind it but i wont recommend it lol....but funny vid anyways...

The superb recipe to have nattou. put the following stuff together and mix it up:

1. nattou

2. kimchi

3. raw egg

you can flavour this with soy sauce and sesami! a point is kimchi and raw egg would help buffer the nattou's notorious bad smell.

I love nattou and it is essential for breakfast for me. I like hikiwari-nattou and it is even more kusai than regular ones.

If you have trouble with the smell of nattou, just try to put chopped shallot or spring onion to kill the smell. That's how I got used to nattou when I was kid.
