When I was in elementary school I tried keeping a diary, but all I would do is write down what happened in my day and that's it. After a week of writing the same thing over and over again, I ripped out all the pages and used the rest of the notebook to draw squiggly lines. I recently found out that maybe a good trick to keep a diary is to write down your current or intermost thoughts. But now I'm beginning to think that's how a diary works...

I actually rescue abandoned diaries. I find them at Goodwill all the time, with like 3 boring melodramatic pages in written in and then nothing. I then fill the rest of it, making sure to reassure the diary that Katie was just a bitch who was using it anyway, and it's better off without her.
