Cokin made cardboard filter cut outs like this 30yrs ago and are still available, just slide into a cokin filter holder, and screw into your filter ring (no elastic band or plastic covering your lens) £3/4 with adapter on ebay. I bought black matt cardboard from a craft shop 50p for A4 size, enough for 6 cokin P size filters, a craft knife scalpel £1.50. Used an old filter as a template, cut to size, then my own custom shapes.

This video terrified me that what I bought was cheap crap... Kai, I have no idea why you had so much trouble with your Bokeh Masters Kit. Is your hand-eye coordination okay? D: How on earth did you manage to break multiple slides..? It was super simple for me to get them out without any problems.. same with putting the band around the holder. :\

lol $25 is such a rip off, unless your lazy, you could make it in around 5 bucks like me. just get a super cheap lens filter off of amazing and cut out the glass so that its just the rim, then get some nice thick construction paper and just cut out the exact size as the lens filter and put it in, then just cut whatever shape u want and stuff. u could save 20 bucks :P

@Brandonmaieli No, it is only possible when using a FAST LENS/PRIME LENS. Prime lens = Lens whose focal length is "fixed" i.e. 50 mm, 100 mm, etc. FAST LENS = lens that opens f1.8, f1.4, or f1.2. ^^
