this gathers information on the actual gestational age of the preterm infant which is essential to choosing the best treatment. I can see how it looks unkind, but the stimulation can actually be good for the baby.
I have learned since then that these tests are very necessary for a newborn baby
Otherwise problems that are diagnosed at this time can possibly be treated before
it progresses. It is obvious that newborn babies need certain tests when they are
born and even long afterwards.

The only treatment for these babies is to let the baby grow, get the meds it needs, the food
it needs and. Gestational age judgement is stupid. I showed this to a group of Maternity
nurses and doctors and they thought this was
something out of the 19th century!! These tests only show what strength level the baby
is at. I stand on what I wrote before. It is
stupid and should be updated like about 100
years!!

This is completely ridiculous. These are premature babies who
are hanging on to life and this idiot is performing exercises
on them. Can't this individual wait until the child is a few
months older? If that were my child that person was doing
these with he would be immediately banished from my
hospital room and away from my newborn baby!!
