  • One person has no funk. This track is on their Tokyo albuma

  • simply amazing

  • I believe this is from the Live in Tokyo disk. One of the classic road warrior bands. This disk can be had if you look around.

  • @marksil00 pretty sure I got mine on Amazon, but it was at about 3 years ago now. The MP3 is still there though.

  • 1 person dislikes because there is no auto-tune about as cool as it gets

  • one person's got no soul

  • Lettuce came out with this first.... members of Soulive played in the original line up of Lettuce... and still do from time to time. You can download this CD from Rhapsody.

  • "no description available" - Right on...

  • Lettuce Live in Tokyo at the Blue Note playing 'Breakout' originally by Soulive. This version is the sickest groove I've heard in forever - BUT Skip all the way to teh end of the CD to hear Me'Shell Ndegeocello playing the bass along to the groove - Amazingly insane!!!

Super rare CD though - its literally a burnt copy of the show and packaging is paper sleeve with a sticker

  • @PBrew2 No, that's incorrect. Lettuce came out with this first.... members of Soulive played in the original line up of Lettuce... and still do from time to time. You can download this CD from Rhapsody.

  • @myjazzvibes Nope. I wasnt trying to prove a point now i am. The original version is from the 'Breakout' album that released in 2005. This version is from the 'Live in Tokyo at the Blue Note" CD released in '04 but recorded in '03. It was written and composed by Eric Krasno of Soulive. Its wasnt originally a song per say, just a groove but became popular on tour and recorded at the Blue Note. so technically it was made popular by Lettuce buts its a Soulive song.
