You have a good point - she is not a trained singer and has problems with her voice. But for me Madonna is an idol because of the hole package - her hole personality and her good eye for show-biz. She has said herself she's not the best dancer nor singer in the world but she does things in her own way and that she has made something of her life - becoming a pop icon and a living legend and an inspiration for many of us music lovers.
