It just shows what an excellent mother she is! It's natural (and upsetting!) for kids to cry when their parents go, but he seemed to like the toys in the end, so it's all good! :)

Most children when faced with being parted from their parent for the first time to a bunch of strangers is frightening for them. His reaction is a normal one that Maci and Kyle both handled beautifully.
