  • ....sooooo........ , no.

  • ☺/

    /▌

/ \ copy and paste bob on 20 videos

he will rule youtube and be on the news and you'll know you were a part of it

  • Asshole

  • Fuck you.

  • same sex marriage and abortion are not really issues ...Chuck Baldwin is at least talking about the issues whats wrong with our economy he goes to the root WTA , NAFTA , open borders ..the IRS ..it doesnt matter how hes goin to do it ...Have you heard "the well Known media Backed candidates "talk about these things ?

  • thanks for your comment, but i really have a hard time understanding how you can see barr's record as being libertarian. i never heard this before. even those who support him now will admit that his past is quite atrocious. voting YES on something is not fighting hard against it. just last year, barr's "leadership fund" PAC donated lots of money to republican neocons who were running against libertarian candidates, who did not receive anything from barr's PAC. that says quite a lot to me.

  • as you can see here, dr. paul isn't exactly showing great enthusiasm for neocon bob's campaign. at best, he is just trying to avoid saying anything to embarrass the libertarian party. he didn't even bring up the subject of barr, but he had to come up with some response to the direct and specific question. if you see this as an enthusiastic endorsement of cia bob, then have a nice day.

  • Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection

that your vote is never lost.

    --John Quincy Adams

Don't whine about people voting for a third candidate. A two party system was never intended. Act like a free citizen and vote your conscience.

  • Amen, brother. Any argument to the contrary always burns me the fuck up. The TRUE wasted votes are the ones cast for Obama or McCain out of ignorance.

  • Well said. If you vote for Obama or McCain, and neither one reflects your views, you have truly waisted your vote.

  • Barr wasn't always a libertarian, but now he is. Moreover, it's not possible for the Constitution Party to win, and building their party is building a theocracy. The answer is to vote Barr, and then vote for the Libertarian candidate in 2012, who has Barr's race to build off of. Root intends to run again in 2012, and will be a great candidate by then...

  • I am so glad that people see the Constitution Party for what it is, a theocracy. Not a chance in hell I would vote for that.

  • Barr's a snake-oil salesman who's nothing more than a damn smooth talker.

  • "Barr's a snake-oil salesman who's nothing more than a damn smooth talker."

He's not even that. Harry Browne would have owned him. I think about how much shit Harry Browne got over his emphasis on tariffs and excise taxes. Now in 2008, Bob Barr is saying that we should think about all different tax proposals, screen immigrants, and possibly allow eminent domain given "an overwhelming public interest". Fuck him.

  • Barr voted for the Patriot Act, which eviscerated massive sections of the constition. In 1998, He successfully blocked implementation of Initiative 59—the "Legalization of Marijuana for Medical Treatment Initiative of 1998"—which would have legalized medical marijuana in the District of Columbia". He voted FOR the Iraq resolution. Doesnt seem libertarian to me.

  • Barr is a phony who hates White people who have pride in themselves and their heritage. Barr is a neocon in disguise. Don't fall for his tricks. Vote Chuck Baldwin and support Ron Paul's campaign for Liberty. Go Chuck go.

  • No, voting for Obama is the true devil!

  • Then be my guest. Waste your vote for one of the two conservative split "turd" parties.

An Obama vote rips a hole in the GOP. The Republican Party needs to be hammered by a landslide so the local districts can be taken over by Ron Paul REPUBLICANS.

WE ARE REPUBLICANS taking back OUR Party from the NEO-CON globalist bastards.

There is absolutely NO HOPE in getting a third (TURD) party candidate elected. Besides, those two dipshits split the vote.

Pretty lame ass move Barr and Baldwin.

  • We are all allies, you do not need to use foul language! I hate the neo-cons! I just believe that giving liberty a voice this election will help open the door to the message. We are both fighting for liberty just different ways. Keep up the good fight and thank you for helping Ron!

  • I will write in Ron Paul regardless. RP should be Pres for Libs and Barr could be VP. But I will write in Ron Paul for Pres. VT's vote counting machine has already decided my vote and Sec of STate , Deb Markowitz will not even logs errros and why should she - she to gets re-elected and Dem at that...

  • Check out my video on an appeal for Barr and Paul to join forces. It's time to unite!

  • LOL, man you should see the educated Bob Barr......it's called becoming a libertarian! Give the man a break, he saw the corruption and broke away from it! Barr has changed drastically and will be on all 50 state ballots this november, something no one else can do!

  • barr did not "break away" from the corruption of the republicrat party. he was unable to continue winning elections, to keep his career politician self in DC. do you know how long this dude has been in the federal government?? like forever! so he had to come up with a new angle to get himself back in. hence the phoney libertarian charade. are you sure you want to take his word over his long and consistently neocon track record. i just can't imagine it.

  • The truth is Barr will not win, in four more years there will be a new libertarian candidate, hopefully someone like Mary Ruwart, that will be strongethened by my support for them if Ron Paul does not win. I fight for the libertarian message of prosperity, peace, and liberty, not a certain person. The truth is Barr is really helping spread the word of the libertarian party and hopefully we can use this to our advantage as far as educating the people about minimal government.

  • what you say is reasonable, but i think the spokesman for the message of limited government should have credibility. i think barr has already done terrible damage to the party by causing such a division and drivng away so many REAL libertarians. furthermore, i think he continues to embarrass the party even now by advocating the "fair tax" (an absolute scam), calling for a "line of credit" and "long-term congressional activity" in the fannie and freddie bailout, ect.

  • Real libertarians will vote for Mary Ruwart or Wayne Allen Root next time around. True libertarians will keep a close eye on Barr and I have a feeling they are going to see Barr really do great things for the libertarian party. Who knows what the future holds? I guess we'll find out how well he does on Nov 4th. I just hope that the next libertarian candidate will truly get the deserved attention in the media. The people want to hear real debate! Peace!

  • yes, we absolutely need true debate. we will never have that as long as the dems and repubs keep excluding everyone else. the only difference between the two (actually just one) "major parties" is that they each tell different lies to promote the same totalitarian globalist agenda. the discrimination against "third parties" and their candidates has got to stop NOW!!

  • this is why we're getting Paul on the ballot in LA.

  • Also, Look at the reaction by the GOP when Bob Barr entered the race as opposed to Baldwin. They hardly raised a brow about Baldwin, but have expressed concern over Bob Barr entering the race! Why? Becuase they know he will take the most votes away from McCain! SO common sense says, Votes taken away from McCain by Barr + Ron Paul Supporters + large numner of independents + anti-war democrat Votes taken away from Obama by Barr = Chance to make HISTORY! Split the votes = Same Old Shit!

  • Barr seems maybe an opportunist. First time I saw anything about C.Baldwin, he was invoking God. Paul is Christian, but invokes REASON in his arguments. I would vote for Baldwin only under extreme circumstances. I have said I will write R.Paul in. If a coherent grouping, with Paul's support, takes shape, I will vote for that. Voting for anyone other than Obama or McCain is better than not voting, or voting for either. I will be writing in RP unless something better develops.

  • It comes down to Barr or Baldwin. Nader doesn't stand a chance. He's proven this time and time again. So you look at who's most "Electable". I know....I hate the sound of it too, but you have to face the facts. If the media acts as if Baldwin doesn't even exist, Do you think he will stand a chance? The INTERNET is NOT going to win the election for anyone! The MAJORITY still depends on the TV for political information. I still run into LOTS of people that have no clue who Ron Paul is!

  • This is the biggest blunder Ron Paul has made. Refusing the endorse a candidate is causing a split of the Ron Paul supporters. A third party candidate will need an extraordinary number of people behind them! Unless the Independents Unite, there WILL be a Democrat or Republican in the White House as usual! Atleast the media shows a willingness to interview Bob Barr, while hardly mentioning Baldwin. We wanted another choice and NOW we want Mr PERFECT? This is not Rocket Science people!

  • no shit. Good point man.

  • We really need an endorsement so we can know who to unite behind.

  • Chuck Baldwin 2008!

  • I don't plan to get involved,

    because Chuck Baldwin is a

    candidate for the Constitution Party

he's a good friend and he also worked

    very hard in my campaign.

  • Sorry Debbie Katt I accidentally clicked thumbs down instead of thumbs up. I personally support Barr/Root in 2008, mostly because of Root. He makes a great messenger for the Libertarian Party. I believe in project purple, mixing up red Republicans with blue Democrats. Take the fiscal conservatives from the Republicans and the social liberals from the Democrats and make the color purple the new trend. Barr08

I give you a thumbs up because you are not wasting your vote on your 2ed choice.

  • No problem. I agree with taking the two party system down a few pegs, I'm just not sure that Barr/Root is the right representation for the Libertarians. I don't think that ticket will get any social liberals, especially not after someone looks at Barr's past voting record. Fiscal conservatives, possibly. And more power to them if they can suck votes away from McCain. He's the scariest candidate running at this point. 100 more years of war? Suuuuure.

  • Raxr985 is a douche. Try again.

  • Bob Barr sucks.

My vote is for Ron Paul, all the way.

  • Guys don't listen to jeepndesert this loser has been leaving maybe hundreds of comments about bob barr on Ron paul videos i'm pretty convinced that he is either an obsessed supporter or he works for the Barr camp

"he did fight the patriot act, including sunset clauses?"jeepy he should have fought it by reading the constitution and NEVER VOTING FOR IT! barr needs to build a libertarian voting recorded then maybe we can get behind this guy. Until then Chuck Baldwin will be the man to get my vote

  • Barr thought it would make a lot more sense and only spy on convicted terrorists. That didn't happen. He has changed, and that conversion is honest. Reagan was forgiven for his 180, can't Barr be forgiven?

  • "Barr thought it would make a lot more sense and only spy on convicted terrorists?" are you kidding me? The patriot Act which is hundreds of pages long was not written to spy on guys already locked up. maybe Barr has changed but I'm not just taking his word for it, he needs the record to back up what he says and he just doesn't have it. the reason I love and trust Ron Paul is because his record backs up everything he says. Barr should go back to congress and work on a libertarian voting record.

  • Barr seems like bad news to me. First off, even IF we gave him the benefit of the doubt and he really thought that these things were for good reasons (voting for patriot act, co-authoring DOMA, voting to ban wiccans from the military?, serious drug warrior, etc.)... even IF he has seen the err of his ways, do you want to vote someone in that has such poor judgment? This is why I was supporting kucinich early on. He has a STELLAR voting record and means what he says.

  • pt 2. It's also why I can't support any of the front runner candidates. I was a Gravel supporter most recently and now that he's out, I'm going with Nader. Someone I can trust and has ALWAYS done the right thing for the people, despite how the dems would like to paint him.

  • Chuck Baldwin seems more trustworthy, honest, and transparent to me, so I support him over the Libertarian nominee

  • sounded like a Chuck Baldwin endorsement to me. I don't think Paul is all that excited about ex Neo-Con Barr.

  • didn't sound like an endorsement for either. you have a choice anti-gay chuck baldwin with a limited 3rd party, or a national 3rd party with bob barr.

  • Wait a minute Bob Barr did introduce the Defense of Marriage Act and he said he disagreed with the California Supreme Court decision. And for some reasons (Mitt Romney) I really don't trust that Bob Barr has been transformed.

  • Barr introduced that because he felt it would be easier for Gay Marriage to be legalized because it would be left up to each state. That was Goldwater's thinking, in terms of integration. He thought slow integration was the most peaceful way. Now I agree with the Civil Rights Act of '64, but I could understand Goldwater's thinking, and I could understand Barr's thinking. Barr just wanted a more expedient and quick way for Gay Marriage, but he didn't realize that act would be such a problem.

  • 1) Didn't Ron Paul vote yes on the DOMA?

    2) I don't hold Barr's disagreement on the Cal's decision against him. Likely because I agree with his stance. I don't know his reasons, but mine is that the decision went against the people's vote. Sure, I didn't like the vote, but I don't like judges undermining the people more. Now the gay marriage ban amendment will be up for voting in November and I plan on voting No to that, but I will respect whatever result may occur. Agree or not.

  • @ovalshine-why do you care about other people's business? Gays should be allowed to marry like anyone else. This is why I can't stand the conservative positions on things. Always in somebody's business instead of minding their own. The court overturned the vote b/c it was UNCONSTITUTIONAL, meaning their rights would have been infringed.

  • Why do you assume I care? Did you read the part where I said I would be voting no to the gay marriage ban amendment in November? Also, how is it unconstitutional? You weren't the first to say it, so that question is not rhetorical. It is legit. If I'm wrong, I want to know how I am wrong. Considering you supported Gravel, you're likely making up rights.

  • I assume that you care because you agreed that other people have some kind of say in someone else's personal life. It is unconstitutional because nothing in our constitution prohibits someone from marrying who they want. I would even go so far as to say that disallowing polygamy isn't constitutional, even if I don't personally agree with it. As long as all parties to the marriage enter willingly I don't see why it's the government's business to be involved in our bedrooms.

  • pt 2 and where do you get that Gravel supporters make up rights? If you're talking about the National Initiative, the founding documents of our country specify that the people have a right to modify our government as we see fit.

  • My belief is that government should have nothing to do with any marriage. I want to get that out of the way first here.

While I, too, detest telling people how to run their lives, I'm also against telling people how to vote or in this case, tell people that their vote is meaningless. My argument was against the idea of devaluing votes, not really the issue at hand. Now, I will credit you with something... (more)

  • You have provided a good argument and I had to step back for a moment. I know my ground, but my articulation seems to be sucking. I don't know if I can get you to see where I'm coming from because I feel you're misinterpreting my opinion. Again, I feel that's my problem.

  • OK, I understand that you agree with me that people's bedrooms should be off limits to the government (assuming consenting parties). I don't think that the supreme court overturning a vote means that it is devaluing the votes. It is the court's job to interpret new laws and determine their constitutionality (even if the current administration's appointees SUCK at this). That is just part of the process. It's how it protects us from mob rule. And this is how the NI4D would work too.

  • I agree that gays should be allowed to marry, like anyone else, when marriage is in no way related to the government, which it shouldn't be. I currently tend toward opposing same sex marriage, because it seems mostly a political power grab and I don't believe those with a moral objection to homosexuality should be forced to fund benefits... The fundamental issue is that the federal government shouldn't be regulating free association. Focus on that and you disarm the religious zealots.

  • So endorse them both. Tell his supporters to look at the 2's positions and pick one. There is a movement to write-in Paul. That would be terrible in my view. You might a well throw it right out the window. Use your vote wisely.

  • Exactly, the write-in for Paul people just don't understand how to properly take advantage of the political system. They are essentially trying to change the system by casting their vote out of the system (some states don't even count write-ins) but with a candidate that resonates emotionally and philosophically. They don't see in big picture that voting someone with forward momentum like Barr could mean to building a party that can be a vehicle for the revolution in the near future.

  • exactly, write-in votes won't even be reported. bob barr's votes will be reported.

  • Writing in Paul would not help him win, but if Paul garnered 5% and McCain lost by 3%, it would show them they can not win without us! And that would not be a wasted vote in my opinion! I's not like Chuck or Barr has a chance, they are both protest candidates, I think it would be best for Paul supporters to pick one and puff up his percentage just to show we are here!

  • listen to ron paul, he likes barr. he would endorse barr if it wasn't for anti-gay baldwin.

  • Barr is more similiar politically to Paul than Baldwin is.

  • how? Barr voted for the war and the patriot act. I have not had that time to research Baldwin yet but from what I hear he is much more in line with Ron Paul than Barr is.

  • bob barr isn't running on his past record. he's running on the libertarian platform and has actively worked to correct his past. and he did fight the patriot act, including sunset clauses.

  • Baldwin for President!

  • I invite all to view the constitution party's website.

  • From the Platform:

"Gambling promotes an increase in crime, destruction of family values, and a decline in the moral fiber of our country."

"We call on our local, state and federal governments to uphold our cherished First Amendment right to free speech by vigorously enforcing our laws against obscenity to maintain a degree of separation between that which is truly speech and that which only seeks to distort and destroy."

The CP is not libertarian at all. Baldwin is also anti free trade.

  • it is easy to simply say baldwin is anti-free trade. it is another thing to back it up with facts.

  • Yes, I think Paul has made the right decision to not endorse the one over the other. If he has formally endorsed any third party candidate in this election cycle the McCain camp would also go against him. This way Paul holds the moral position of solidarity with the GOP as party (though he personally and most supporters may/will not vote for McCain) and it will make it easier for him to reform the GOP after a McCain loss, or if McCain wins, exercise pressure to move in the right position.

  • welp, that settles that debate.

    Now we wait and see.

I take my marching orders from Ron Paul because he takes his from the Constitution !

  • Bob Barr is No RON PAUL!

  • QFT gunjin

No Barr for me too. he has too many question marks around him. He also has a horrendous voting record including on the most important issues like the War and the Patriot Act.

If Dr Paul isnt the nominee its Chuck Baldwin Ill gladly support

  • Amen Baldwin is good. Barr is just a rat leaving a sinking ship. He has way too many neocon ideas. Almost like Bush part 3.

  • Amen bdc03. hes like a rat leaving a sinking ship and playing a new character. Your typical politician. reminds me of Newt Gingrich a much shorter Newt with a silver mustache.

  • Chuck Baldwin's a true Conservative and has earned my support given Ron Paul dosent get the nomination
