I actually used Ken in the Grand Finals of this tourney against Rashaan, he still works for other match ups lol...I don't really play as Sagat that much anymore though.
Top Tier isn't always the answer it just helps lol but I just find it a bit dissappointing that we cant see a top placing Ken. Idk but its just like to to always pick the lower tier characters over top tier. Such as In HDR i use Ken , 3s I use Akuma, in 4 I use Ken. But I do like the way ken is played in these games and in 3s Akuma was just fun its coincidence that they're all low tier.
I understand that, but it seems like its working very well for Dr. Chaos. Honestly just look at the best players they all use top tier characters. I dont understand why people try to deny it. I completely agree with you about picking the character to your liking which is what I have done with SFIV (Balrog) and what im trying to do with HD Remix (Balrog right now but idk). But still for every game its top tier.
I take it this was vanilla?

no he still plays him in tourneys, but plays more with akuma and sagat.
I think he should quit Ken because he can place just as high as the best if he plays with top tier characters.
