  • i am searcging this player on the amp3 tv official site and i didnt find it..

  • Hi,

This player has been discontinued for quite some time - the review is over a year old now. We leave older reviews up as an archive, but unfortunately these products don't have very long production lifespans.

  • I am looking to find one of these players in silver. They are so hard to find

  • nice mp3 player and nice in-ear earphones

  • woop scotland ftw

  • looks like a sony ericsson lol

  • can it read chinese

  • Yo, can u add the picture as a background?

  • how hard was it to read the note cards under the camera

  • This is fantastic, high res and audio quality, lots of storage, no tangles in earphones!

  • how do you download music to this thing? O_o

  • Drag and Drop via Windows Explorer, or whatever it's called on a Mac XD And in Linux too ;)

  • thanx man! I found out on my own, but thanx anyway! -^_^-

  • so it can connect to bluetooth on a mobile? send tracks ?

  • it's a cell phone?

  • no it is not a cell phone but it is one amazing mp3 i had mine for about a month i bought it on boxing day

  • ahh.. ok.. thanks, looks great.. enjoy yours!

  • is it a loud mp3 because the ipod's volume are set very low and i wanted a loud one

  • Well the Bluetooth headphones are very loud and the in EX ear buds are resonably loud not to mention great sound quality for any type of music. But it is not really to much the i pod its self it is the head phones that you use try playing around with diffrent types of head phones to get a louder sound, for a loud sound with great bass i would recomend JVC gummies. But i used to think louder was better, but know i would rather have a amazing sound than loudness.

  • No its sucks

  • how much does it cost

  • Please check the website

  • $169 Singapore dollars .

    It's a great thing .

    I have one .

  • can you send tracks from a fone to it?

  • So can you get a 16gb with bluetooth or what?

  • Yes - all models are bluetooth compatible. Sony don't supply their bluetooth headphones free with the 16GB though - you have to buy some separately

  • Hmmm, now why would they do that. So how how much would the seperates cost? I figure I may as well get 16gb, you see!

  • yes you can get a 16 GB with bluetooth

  • Hello, how do I scroll audiobooks. When a book is 45 hours long and I want to start from the middle (as last time I stoped there) how do I get to 16th hour of the audio quickly, or when watching video I want to review 45 minute? Could you help out please? Thanks!

  • Thanks for the review. Just wana say one of the reasons I hate the ipod is that it has the looks, but it doesn't play good. I HATE the sound quality, I prefer my mini zen v plus's sound over the ipod anyday.

The fact that this walkman can play videos is a bonus to me, this review convinced me to get it asap! Thanks!

  • i love the irish accent

  • I know, I always check this guy's reviews. xD

  • so if i understand this right you can set the 5 bands of the equalizer to whatever you want just like sony ericsson phones?

  • Nice review, thanks for it.

  • guys what software does this mp3 use to transfer music etc?

  • Nothing. It's drag and drop.

  • Thanks buddie.. drag and drop is what i wanted to hear.. this is the reason i prefer mp3 over ipods.

  • Correct, but you can also use Windows Media Player of you need to transfer DRM protected files.

  • thanks for letting us know you can use wmp aswell as the drag and drop, i was torn between this mp3 and the ipod touch 16gb but itunes software puts me off ipods aswell as the sound quality, think ill stick to my sony mp3s. thanks for the vid mate appreciate it.

  • Excelent close view angles. They let you visualize the product in more detail. Getting one, arrives next monday :P

  • Getting one tomorrow. Trading in my Zen x-fi and adding some money to be able to afford it. From the looks of this I won't be disappointed at all.

    Great review!

  • Got mine 2 days ago. Sound quality is amazing, it is very very small (much smaller than i expected), very nice screen, and bluetooth headset works very good. Has some flaws (wouldn't expect less with BT), but still very nice.

The problem with drag and drop is that sometimes you can't put the album art with all the songs. For that I use Media Monkey (that I recently discovered searching for help with the album art), and now it is almost 100% organized.

Ipod have forgotten they are building MP3

  • Your opinion guys:

    Samsung YP-P2 or Sony NWZA82?

I'm at a split between Sony's superb sound quality and Samsung's extra features(radio, voice recorder).

  • Just bought one of these, it's awesome, much better than the ipod nano.

Anyone know what format my videos have to be because none seem to be working?

  • IPod is shit when you compare it with the walkman..superb quality

  • you are 110% correct xD

  • Most people will agree that the Sony has the better sound

  • Omg I have Nokia!!

  • Sorry - confusion about which player I was replying to a comment on. Sadly, the Sony won't let you bluetooth from a phone, it just connects to bluetooth headphones - sorry for the confusion.

  • I can say it is better. Sony mp3-players has very good sound.

  • @aasd5 yes my sony sounds better than any ipod iv had....lets see how many haters we got lol

  • Can I send music from my mobile to this walkman by bluetooth??

  • Does it work with itunes?

  • iTunes will only connect to Apple players - it's a limitation that Apple puts on the program, but you can use the AAC files it creates (as long as they are not purchased from the iTunes store) on the player by dragging and dropping.

  • thanks for the review!

  • thanks

  • You can just drag and drop files over to the player right?

  • Yes, you can simply drag and drop onto the player's memory.

  • is the audio clear for the bluetooth without the music being compress to lower bitrate because i read on cnet said the sound quality was kinda bad

  • Yeah if it's in your pocket you may have to switch it to a lower quality mode as it can skip if you're tall or there's some obstruction such as your phone on top of it.

  • walkman con bluetooth... revolucionariamente genial!!!

  • i got the nwz-a810, god, i never heard a mp3 player with such good sound quality, i think that will be my next player, 4gb is getting kinda short

  • Good review, but it's a bit obvious you're using an autocure, which takes away from the professionalism somewhat. Still, you've influenced me to buy it so cheers!

  • Hi, this is one of our first video reviews so we were using an auto cue, however, if you check out some of our latest AMP3 TV reviews, we've stopped doing this. Thanks for the feedback!

  • S'cool. I bought it by the way, it's awesome. Love the sound quality, and is so worth the money. Would recommend it any day.

  • You are correct, thanks for pointing this out

  • The model of the walkman is wrong its the NWZA820 not the NWSZ820... It is an awesome walkman though

  • The Bluetooth headphones supplied are really good, they sell separately for around £49, and are ideal for jogging/exercising.

  • just wonering, what are the bluetooth headphones like, can you go jogging etc?
