I am Brazilian and I was vivting England with my son for the first time! He was only 3 years old in July, going 4 in August! It was the best thing we did in England! It was fantastic, amazing! Why did they stop with that?

It finnished in 1999... I was at the last one!!! It was the best thing i have ever seen... some of my dad's friends were on parade but unfortunately my dad wasn't... We should start on online petition to bring back the royal tournament because it is the best!!!!! My dad's in the RAF and he says it is a really good show of strenth to the public and a great morale booster..... Bring it Back!!!!!

The last ever royal tournament closed on the 2 August 1999 after the labour party decided it would be a good cost cutting measure in the 1998 Strategic Defence Review.
Wow, this was the opening of the 1994 Royal Tournament at Earls Court, London. It featured the four riders of the apochlypse being chased off by the forces of peace as portrayed by members of NATO. I have the CD of this show, but have never seen any video of it until now. Brings back memories of that great show, the best tattoo of it kind. Bring on more Militarytattoo. This show also had the last hurrah for the bands of the Light Division.
at the begining of the video from left to right what is it i know the four horseman are famin,death,pestilance and war. I think the one with the sythe is death, the ghostly looking one with incesce is pestilance,one with the flagss on the back of the horse is war so that means that the one with the axe is famine (this is me guessing)
I was there in 1994 with the Royal Danish Lifeguards and was even in the clip!
