  • Mah gawd, just browsing through some older ukf tunes and this one brings back so many memorys

    Epic tune!!!

  • why the fuck is there so many dislikes? this tune goes arrrrrrrd, and all of you little childish UKF keyboard warriors wouldn't understand that, you un-educated pricks

  • Sadly, I only liked the first 44 sec.

  • this is dnb and its jungle shut the fuck up you cunts you you dont now shit about music

  • This is DNB - If you don't agree then you obviously haven't been in the dnb game long enough

  • Comment removed

  • sounds like space mountain :p

  • house/electro/glitch: 125-140 bpm

    DNB/drumstep: 85-90 bmp.

dubstep: ALWAYS A GOD DAMN 140 BPM FFS same shit, always the same shit...

    downtempo 100-110 bmp

    trance: 130-160 bmp

    happy hardcore: 190-210 bmp.

  • @enigmalfidelity What so drum and bass is no longer 170BPM :L okay mate

  • @synthless LOL he knows noffin

  • @synthless Some people produce their songs in double time ... so 85-90 bpm = 170-180 bpm . Only a retard cant do simple math. Destroyed!

  • @TheRoflRocket thats not what i was asking..... dick..... what i mean is do they actuallly make the track on there DAW at that bpm or is it just the way it shows up on some CDJ's/audio readers

  • @synthless Usually made at 170-175, and yes the CDJ can detect it!

  • @synthless sometimes beatport will label songs at 86bpm, but its dnb, i think they're mostly written out at a higher bpm so its easier to map out the quick percussion changes, and then sometimes labeled as half time bpm

  • @enigmalfidelity looooool!!

  • @enigmalfidelity dnb/drumstep = 170 - 190

  • this song is "drum and bass" for all of those who are arguing. Labeling it a sub genre is exactly that, a sub genre... of what? DRUM AND BASS. Stop trying to classify this to what you hear. 170 bpm means 1 thing. DnB. I've only been mixin this shit for years now...

  • MMMNNNEEEEHHHHH

  • This is the best thing ive ever heard. ever.

  • Nice<3Track°!

  • This is a nasty little bit isn't it? That's right, you're a naughty tune....

  • Awesome opening song!

  • i like the way the writer of the 2nd top comment thinks hes bad after refering to doing someone elses nan... he does know he wrote nan right? coz thats just nasty...

  • lmao theres alot of heavy bass...so it must be dub step lmao! get real people.

  • This is just not Drumstep, nor is it Dubstep. If you want to listen to Drumstep, listen to Step On by Original sin, the Turbofresh remix of Last Jungle, or to make it more obvious, "Rob Swire's Drumstep remix" of Witchcraft. The beats and tempo are very different from this. And as for the German guy thinking that he pioneered Dubstep; I had no idea that Skream, Benga, Burial, Rusko, Caspa, Fresh, Doctor P, Jakwob, Sukh Knight (the list goes on) were German. Oh wait, they arent.

  • @Nidmeister oh, don't forget the actual pioneers from 1992. Leftfield. They have the earliest dubstep sounds i've heard. BTW people. Dubstep is dying like rappers... and dnb is on it's way in. once dnb is over, electro glitch shall b next, can u feel it?

  • look i'll end the debate right here.. dubstep is rancid shite, drum step is for people who can't handle the tempo of the master music - Drum and Bass/Jungle. don't reply to me with bpm's and ' sped up' this and ' half time ' that.. if you think this tune is dubstep or drum step you are a fucking moron. now shut up and get your jungle on!

  • @dazzlet666 fyi, this isn't jungle... and drum step is the same bpm as drum and bass, but the emphasis is on the snare rather than the kick, making it seem slower. bless

  • I can feel wilkinson's bass in my pants.......and it feels Epiiiicccc :P

  • WWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWW that hit hard as hell on me wtf!!!

  • ho000oooly shi!!!11ii O>oT

  • sounds like a razor.... but than way better

  • Wilkinson is a beast!

  • Comment removed

  • that is drum and bass. no doubt

  • you are a big poo then

  • yeah i just thought about it abit more and i thought i was wrong but im definitely right now and you also definitely do not make drumz and bas, trik of the tral is very good dubstep maybe a bit drumstep with a few house beats in there

  • @cajodeketh that is completely incorrect, i think i know what genre i produce! and i also happen to know that this tune right here is also drum and bass.

  • i dont know why ukf is always uploading dubstepp on his dnb chanell. this is obviously 137.8 bpm. you can tell by the drums. i just beatmatched it on my virtual djs with doctor p - boss big shop (extremely dirthee song with a bass so sick i eat my dogs ass holez)

  • @cajodeketh shut up mate it's very clearly drum and bass, and if you fire the name of another doctor p tune at me to prove this is dubstep, which it's definitely not, i'll make my arguments longer and more complex.

  • @MemroMusic i just checked you song out on liquicity dnbz and saw you make really good dubstep sounds, trick of the trail is one i like very chilled dubstep beat and bass with lots of womwomwomwom i like

  • @cajodeketh i would take that as a compliment but it's DEFINITELY NOT DUBSTEP

  • let's make a few things clear. this is DEFINITELY, beyond a shred of doubt, drum and bass. in no way is this 'drumstep', as it's not half time. it's also not dubstep, for a multitude of reasons, but perhaps the only one some people who've commented on this will be able to understand is that it's on a drum and bass channel, as opposed to a dubstep channel. dubstep is also completely different, for example, this is good!

  • @MemroMusic why are you being such a fuckk man. you dont know dubstep or dnb like i do!!! moron

  • @cajodeketh be that as it may, as i don't know you and can't claim to know it worse or better than you, this is definitely drum and bass as i hope you'll agree

  • @MemroMusic no man stor being a lamo here in germany we know the dubstep better than all you brits. i have actually started making dnb and dubstep and my favourite drumstep and i can tell you i know the most out of anyones here ipon this youtube! i have changed my mind i think this is drumstep

  • @cajodeketh no it's definitely drum and bass i'm afraid. if you're such an expert why have you changed your mind?

  • Now all the comments are talking about the unoriginality of other comments! What is this world coming to. On a lighter note, this song is heavy, I love it.

  • me wants hoover bass x(

  • I just died ...and i am listening to this song omg :D

  • Hi everyone, I recently got into the finals of a DJ competition for NASS festival and need as many listens likes and comments on my mix as possible to win. Would really appreciate it if you would take the time to check it out. The mix is on my youtube page, there a link on the description that takes you through to the soundcloud page where the listens comments and mixes count. If you would like to download it let me know and il send you a link. Thank you!

  • Drumstep have a laugh, shhhh listen pay attention

  • I hate searching for comments, cause i never find them.

But people aren't honestly calling this drumstep, are they ?

    Jesus.

  • Quality tune by Wilkinson, and yet there are still retards tryna stick this into a genre. ITS FUCKING DRUM AND BASS jheeeze.

  • If it sounds like some sort of dnb, it IS DnB ... If it doesn't you probably dont like it anyway. Dont crap about jump up or what ever... dnb = dnb thats it !

  • great intro

  • BIG.

can't wait for the full version of Moonwalker VIP.

  • >your faces when you realize you can't define a genre by bpm

  • so sad this arguement.. but your all wrong.. you can even make hardcore with 50bpm they are only guidelines fucktards

  • WTF there's an argument over what genre this is? Oh come on you absolute retards. This is OBVIOUSLY drum and bass. NOTHING like Dubstep or 'Drumstep'. How stupid can you be?

  • The fact that some people on here - people that are probably subscribed to UKF, cant even tell what genre this is, when this sounds much more like original d'n'b than half the crap on here is terrifying...

  • its just really fuckin jungle DnB

  • Can no one just enjoy a decent tune? Jheeeeeeeeeeeeeze!

  • Who cares. Its a pretty whack track anyway

  • This is drumstep.

  • @nikolaicholev Then give me the defenition of drumstep please? ( I'm serius because I have some trouble with knowing when it's dnb or drumstep can you please tell it how I can know it? Thanks! )

  • @respectanofficer Drumstep is half time beat at 170, and to make it simpler lets say a dubstep beat at 170 bpm

listen to: Crissy Criss & Youngman - Kick Snare (Drumstep VIP) and you'll see..

  • @nikolaicholev if your gonna give the kid a drumstep tune to listen to for the first time...give him a good one at least!

  • @lyons123michael im just givin an example please..

  • dubstep? LOL

  • Lol at the idiot who thinks this dubstep.......teach me how to dubstep bro!!

  • penis

That's my input to this argument

  • the only thing worse than a genre argument is a bunch of dickheads commenting about how cool they are because they dont argue about it...

  • drumstep is a dubstep beat with the rythm and tempo from DnB.

  • so so so much atmosphere in this tune, such a talented producer

  • just listen n enjoy the daamn music and carry on.. no need for the online politics.. some ppl get toooo caught up...LOL..love DNB

  • *facepalm*. it appears a brilliant work of production is completely wasted on the usual UKF fucktards who argue about what the genre is. oh well, at least there aren't any "this tune is filthier than" cliches. oh wait.

  • @murrayisarobot Such a whiny little BITCH just enjoy the song, commenting on everything wont do anything especially the ukf cliches and arguements

  • I for one am not that bothered about the genre (although it is clearly drum and bass!) just that it is a bloody good tune..its also on Andy C's Nighlife Vol 5 compilation which is also excellent..

  • This the full tune ?

  • Seriously what is it with these anticlimaxes that is dominating almost every electronic genre? The beginning of this tune is full of promises and atmosphere, but it later turns into a terrbile earraping bassfest.

I only listen to this tune coz of the beginning melody...

  • i want to walk on the moon *-*

  • Comment removed

  • Amazing

  • tbh youre all docuhes if your arguing, its a song, shut up and enjoy it

  • biggg

  • I'm literally on the moon.

  • I dont even think you could put that bassline to a dubstep beat anyway, Its not a dubstep bassline

  • WOW

  • one of the SICKEST parts of any nightlife mix. RESPECT!!!

  • THIS IS SICK END OF GENRE DOSEN'T MATTER

  • Don't learn from Youtube comments; they're like grade school rumors that get twisted and misconceived. Find real sources, I see BS all over youtube. Even the highest rated comment is false(no surprise); I laughed when I read that Drumstep is Dubstep sped up.

  • @soulstuckinseth exactly these people need to check out what a drumstep beat is

  • The other day a friend a I blazed and did 115 mph on the highway with this song blaring. I don't think I blinked once until the song ended

  • @RoleyPOHLeyOly Strange, the other day I saw a car go by really fast, what I assumed was 115 mph, and I heard this song blaring.

    Hmmmm...

  • 8 can equal 16 and it can equal 32 in music. Dubstep is written at 140bpm but it is really at 70bmp.

  • shut the fuck up about genres please its nonsense and you dont know what youre talking about anyways

  • just coz u know the bpm dont make u a badaman

  • @Blazerhaze if youre a true fan you would know the bpm...

  • @IndieGeekProductions u dnt have to be a fan.. it aint rocket science

  • @Blazerhaze and just because you have bad spelling and grammar doesn't make you a badman either

  • Lol.. at the start I thought is was listening to "The Prodigy - Out Of Space" =P dunno why... but +1 anyway

  • EXACTLY THE SAME AS NOPROBLEM CHASE AND STATUS

  • @jamescrowther1234 No. it isn't.

  • I WANT MY HEADPHONES LOUDER!

  • fits perfect for a racing game :D

  • If its on UKFDrum&Bass then it is not Dubstep idiots, if it was Dubstep it would be on UKFDubstep. The End

  • this aint dubstep it sounds dubstepish cuz that sound is mucky as fuck but its a drum n bass drumbeat u morons absolute monster of a track probly between 160 -170 bpm

  • This has got a PROPER old skool vibe to it. Love it

  • ADVISORY NOTICE:

    Get Some Sub Insurance

  • build to the drop (0:19 to 0:44) sounds exactly like chase and status - no problem. who's copying who???

  • @ahenderson1989 lmfao FAIL. its becos on nightlife 5 no problem is mixed in with this tune. the recordings of no problem on youtube all are ripped from NL5, thats y u can hear this sample. thats the funniest comment ive ever seen

  • glad u sorted that 1 out eh

  • Anyone who says this is dubstep is a fucking moron.

  • When I was a kid we called this Jump-Up

  • 0:44 + f11 = make homer go crazy

  • itnro reminds me of prodigy!

  • does it remind anyone of no problem by chase and status up until the drop?

  • @tombob143 what an utter spastic u r

  • Woooob wob wob wob

  • 720p always makes a difference..

  • THUMBS UP ON ME TO STOP THE ARGUMENT

This is not DRUMSTEP or DUBSTEP

    THIS IS DRUM AND BASS

DRUMSTEP IS DUBSTEP SPED UP TO 170 BPM

    DUBSTEP IS 140 BPM!

  • @joshgiff fag...

  • @joshgiff We know it is not Drumstep nor dubstep.. that is why it's called UKFDrumandbass sucka/.

  • @Kayasaurz that's a useless comment lol, ukfdnb also posts drumstep so :p

  • @djexpanium it ain't useles.. it does make a difference.. :]

  • @djexpanium yeh drumstep is fuckin dnb!! are you an absolute moron????? the ONLY difference between dnb n drumstep is a couple of snares removed from the break. its the same bpm as dnb

  • @oljackson99 CHEK OUT MY DRUM & BASS & DUBSTEP TRACKS !!!! CURRENTLY IN TOP 10 I ALSO PRODUCE HOUSE/ELECTRO/TRANCE/HIPHOP !!!!!!

  • @oljackson99 omg rage more ROFL! :p have a nice wank, wanker! :D grtz biatch

  • @joshgiff i dont think any tune has specific beats per minute but yes this is dubstep

  • @BAXJP course they do! if tunes changed tempo u wouldnt be able to mix em! and NO this ISNT dubstep its dnb!!!! jesus fuckin christ

  • @joshgiff drumstep isnt dubstep just sped up, its just an amen break with 2 snares taken out. it has no association with dubstep at all

  • @joshgiff well drumstep is actually dnb - just halftime

  • @joshgiff who gives a fuck what category it is? these arguments are dumber than the religion arguments that happen on youtube.

  • @joshgiff not at all time....its typically 140 bpm it can be 170 bpm or even 70 bpm.

  • @freeridergod Dude, 140 and 70 bpm is the same. The most beats in dubstep counts as 70 bpm and can have some breaks, that is 140 bpm.

  • @freeridergod haha. woopys did realize xD im not very good at math. but its not like the law for dubstep to be 140 like ive seen afew dubstep artist that go over 140 and under.

  • @joshgiff

    this.

  • Drumstep is DnB with half-drums, they just occur half as much, basically 170/2 is drumstep, only the drums are at 85-90bpm but everything else is still running at 170-75.

  • @joshgiff i thought drum step was drum and bass sped up to 340 bpm and then given a heavy 170bpm kick + snare

  • @joshgiff

more to jungle than dnb but yeh basically you're right

  • @joshgiff LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE FOUND OUT WHAT THE CAPS LOCK BUTTON DOES
