If you want to listen to Drumstep, listen to Step On by Original sin, the Turbofresh remix of Last Jungle, or to make it more obvious, "Rob Swire's Drumstep remix" of Witchcraft. And as for the German guy thinking that he pioneered Dubstep; I had no idea that Skream, Benga, Burial, Rusko, Caspa, Fresh, Doctor P, Jakwob, Sukh Knight (the list goes on) were German. Drumstep is DnB with half-drums, they just occur half as much, basically 170/2 is drumstep, only the drums are at 85-90bpm but everything else is still running at 170-75.

@freeridergod Dude, 140 and 70 bpm is the same. The most beats in dubstep counts as 70 bpm and can have some breaks, that is 140 bpm.

Drumstep is DnB with half-drums, they just occur half as much, basically 170/2 is drumstep, only the drums are at 85-90bpm but everything else is still running at 170-75.
