Learn how to clean up the wake, and find some good riders. Also, I read in a comment that you only have 1 fat - sac weighing 200 pounds. Buy A Malibu or Tige or something made for this stuff and you'll have 1,500 pounds of ballast, plus a wedge creating a downward force anywhere from 1,000 pounds to 2,000. Also you said it's all at your back end which you don't want. No wonder the wake isn't clean. Lastly have 10 people in your boat all on one side and then you'll have a clean wake.

@KOJproductions just play with the speed of the boat. and wakeboard boats help a lot, but if not, just grab a bunch of ppl on the boat and make em all sit in the back of the boat, you will get a pretty decent wake that way

@rentatrent The board I'm currently using is a short board from a brand called The Walker Project. The boards they make are truly amazing, and are pretty much a real surfboard, they are a little pricey, but completely worth it. Just type in The Walker Project on the youtube search bar, and it'll be the first video.

centurion, nautique, sanger(not so sure about sanger), tige. Centurions and nautiques are the best the rest i mentioned are ok. the rest of the boats are just horible. mastercrafts (disastercrafts) and malibus i just plain hate they are also just bad boats. Svfara boats are alos pretty good

i still think the nautique wave is bigger with the wake plate but i was wondering if you know about sangers. the wave is supose to be bigger than centurions. i have never seen one but just heard about them.

Lets see, Smaglax everyone has a opinion and i would disagree that a nautique has a bigger have. First, wave size is about hull design and weight and the nautique has neither. Most boats on LAKE AUSTIN are nautiques and i have friends that have both none are as big or as long, that is what you really want is length in the wave. Check out my LCRS director cut video and you can see better wave shots.

that is true but if you put more weight in the bow the wave is longer and you can only put 800 in the bow of a nautique before it starts to sink but with centurions you can put more weight in the bow but their hull design is so that you do not need as much weight in the front and more in the back. i have an enzo sv230 and a nautique 210. The nautique is more sensetive to wieght. while the centurion is not. one thing everyone can agree on is that the interior of nautiques is very diffrent

@surfdhoe natique was originaly as a compition water ski boat and since 2001 the compition version which u see most often has been made to not make a large wake but i hace been behind one of the newer open bow versions that made a gigantic wakes some of natiques are specific wake boats and they make large wakes and u can always install one of those hydrolic wedges to make the make larger

centurions have a wake plate ya so get a nautique 230 tear out that hydro gate and put a wake plate in the sell them off the internet. Then nautiques have a bigger wake. we just compared them a couple days ago. enzo sv240 and 30 vs natique 230 and 210 all of them have wake plates. the centurions have more weight in them. nautique wins cleaner bigger wake.

They are using Centrion Enzo's and Calabria's designed specifically for wakesurfing. If ALL you do it wakesurf, then that's fine, but if you like to do other stuff too like wakeboard or even water ski, you're SOL in those boats. They even design them specifically for one SIDE.

That plus they also have 1500+ pounds worth of fat sacks in the boat.

you have your words mixed up my calabria dose have ballast but its only 800 pounds for both sides and i have no problem sloeming (dont know how to spell that) behind it and the calabria only weighs 3000 pounds opposed to the centurion which is 4300 ponds so i think your mixed up. and built in fat sacks are called ballast tanks

good footage. chase boat needs to be ahead of the surfer in my opinion to get a better idea of the size of wake and trough you have there. similar to the wave my supra 24ssv puts out. the alley-oop 3 was ill. and most wakeboarders wakesurf as well. its something to do during the day when the lake is choppy. mellow and relaxing. so hihaters dont hate.

ive done both and have to say real surfing is better cause you dont have to do the hold on to the rope and get up awkwordly, and you have more of a wave to ride and carve then just a little wake, but it is a very good alternative

I did it for the first time today.The biggest diference is, the presure on your arms is nothing at all. You dont have to let go. if you hang on, you can play with your speed and other shit. Its the same ,Just with a boat LOADED with wieght. Imagine wake boarding on a7 or 8 foot wall of water.
