O'hey, isn't that the intro to Elfen Lied? It's a gorgeous song.

I absolutely love Russia; both the character from Hetalia and the actual country. It's sad that our countries (I'm from America) do not get along well. My (younger) generation coming in has little to nothing against Russia at all (I'm 20), but the older citizens still thrive on Cold War fear. Most of the hate is stemmed from that. I hope when the current generation is kicked out of power, we can rebuild a better/good relationship.

Honestly, after watching/reading APH, I learned to NEVER judge a country by its history. Yes, Russia the actual country has suffered and is often frowned upon by its modern history, but the pictures I've seen show its beauty and culture.

Regarding the series portrayl, I think "Russia" is the broken, internally cruel, haunted soul while "Ivan" just wants one real friend. Plus, either way, he needs a hug and maybe a sunflower wreath on his head. (^-^)
