@ThePsych123 Superman has his dad from Earth, Raven and Starfire from the Teen Titans have fathers ( Starfire on her planet and Raven in a different dimension ) as for Marvel I don't think there is anyone besides Thor... Wait. What about Deadpool? I didn't read all the comics but I never encountered a comic that said he has no parents. Same goes for Hulk... Oh wait his father died in the first movie.

Not true. Timely (Marvel's original incarnation) was founded in 1939. DC on the other hand (back when it was National) was founded in 1934. Also note that DC celebrated its 75th anniversary this year, where as Marvel is only celebrating it's 70th.
