What instruments are used in the HB logo? Sounds like some kind of organ to me.

@ALEXSLINGSBY Hoyt Curtin probably used a synthesizer to use it. The sound is pretty low quality for a classic logo.

When I was about 9, I did not like this logo ident because it was bright and the music wasn't good. I remember this being on The Scooby Doo Show and Smurf's Adventures and I just didn't like this logo ident. My mum once told me that if you don't like production company logo idents - there is nothing you can do about them.

This replaced the Screen Gems "S from Hell" logo on 1984 prints of "Pebbles & Bamm Bamm" (1971-72) and "The Flintstone Comedy Hour (Show)" (1972-73), which explains why you see two different H-B logos on these shows when USA had them on their Cartoon Express block.

That one could be spotted on "The Yogi Bear Show" (1961) and old USA Cartoon Express showings of "The Huckleberry Hound Show." The logo looked like that on those two shows due to poor film quality.

I saw this logo a couple of weeks ago on the boomerang channel late at night and it scared the crap out of me. This logo doesn't usually scare me, in fact, it's one of my favorites.
