@jbudrow1 i do see your pt. i generally like music regardless of genre. if it moves you in some way, then it's a good song to you. might not be to some1 else. people who say that 1 genre is better than another are ignorant of the fact that it's just their own perception of what they like. if they like it, doesn't necessarily make it 'better'. but labeling music is a way for us to communicate it to others & to identify with similar music. so in that, i find it useful. does that make me a TOOL?

Generally I've seen that if the artist is not too popular, only us crazy people mad about them will be listening to them and we really enjoy it. That was the case with deadmau5 till he became ultra famous. Then the idiots start listening to it because it is "cool" and spread the hate. Man, by the time I finished writing this, the music has become so beautiful that nothing else matters! Group hug for all the true music fans!

i always get "oh, so your a DJ, what type of music do you like most" my answer "trance, hard trance, psytrance and a bit of GOA", then you get "what the hell is that?", "well its a sub genre of techno", "oh, so you like techno"
