Strictly speaking, the composition is played with virtuosity, since different resources such as , plucking the strings, rubbing one or two of them at the same time, producing the harmonics (by the guy sit in front), doing vibrato and coordinating all of it simultaneously in a funny way, results in a great performance.

In addition reducing a composition for orchestra onto a cello is too challenging...

@thefartingfist this is a veeeery well known piece by maurice ravel. his bolero... it sticks so well, because it's basically the same for fifteen minutes. listen to the whole thing, by a real orchestra. it's awesome. the way it starts with practically nothing and becomes this huge, massive piece of music.... ah.... :D
