Yes I'm very impressed with the quality of it I'm just starting photography but it is very good I'm almost sure it's a step-down from an slr

@Ridebmx331 It's definitely not going to compete with an SLR as far as image quality goes. But I'm sure it's a very capable camera all the same. Plus, a DSLR with a comparable lens would cost a fortune and weigh a ton. Apples and oranges :-)

Tomas, that is excatly the reason I'm torn between this Nikon and the Canon you bought. Do you love the Canon? That tilt-out screen is perfect for taking shots with my son. That's insane to have it tilt, and not just go all the way out to be viewed from the front.

I'm going to explode, I can't decide between this camera and the sx20.

if they had fully articulated the screen i would´ve definetely chosen this one over the canon Powershot sx20 IS.... but i´m having my doubts.... does anyone know which of them is bulkier?

We don't have the Coolpix P100 available for review right now. This video was made at a tradeshow with the Nikon tech VP showing us the camera. When and if we get a P100 for review we'll try to get some video samples posted.

Are you asking about the 7D I used to film this or the Nikon Coolpix P100? The P100 uses SD memory cards as do pretty much all compact digital cameras now.

Looks just like most superzoom cameras - Olympus, Sony, Pentax, Panasonic, etc. They all look more or less the same.
