So, they found Alien 3 to be an allegorical film about AIDS, but they failed to pick up on any of Fight Club's themes. And a critic who condemns a film because he felt squeemish (ie. Se7en) is very unprofessional.

To boil it down to it's simplest terms he rejects authority while building himself into an authority figure, he denounces modern society for stripping away personal identity, while distilling his follower's thoughts into those of mindless zombies, and he turns himself into an underground dictator who leads a coup against society, where individual existence is not nearly as important as the 'cause'.
