I don't know...Maybe we should just drop the entire language: Mr.Rorty. But it was pretty funny. Tho, not in any philosophical sense. I guess, its the strong poet showing his head.
these people seem lost in a hopeless tangle of excessive abstraction, maybe they know exactly what they're talking about, but who else does? it all seems unneccessarily complicated and I'm not going to lie, banal. I could of course be mistaken and just ignorant, but I think there's a limit to intellectual complexity, once something is so incredibly complex that almost nobody can understand, how relevant can it actually be?
two big contributions. One as co-author (with Bertrand Russell) of the "Principia Mathematica" about the foundations of math. Another as author of "Process and Reality" which offered an alternative metaphysics (to standard materialism) in light of the discoveries of modern physics (relativity and quantum theories).
@0ThouArtThat0 No one really cares about "Principia Mathematica" any more. Esepcially among mathematicians it doesn't mean much. Just like mathematicians are satisfied with the axiom of set theory. In fact Godel's theorems are that way too. We aren't dazzled with the non-provability of consistency of mathematics with infinite elements from the inside. Things are as they are. And thats not Newtonian neither. Maybe it has to do with getting used to the idea of weapon of mass destruction.
0ThouArtThat0: i have noticed you reply to text comments, Their is a user called Ian Crossland who recently made a video complaining that Text Commenter's arent real people. What do you think about that please, why do you reply to text comments?-people who only text and dont vlog-?
I'd rather respond to a video, but for philosophical talks I don't care. Text is better for aruging specific points, actually. But for words to really mean something, they must be spoken.

@0ThouArtThat0 The person who writes for fools is always sure of a large audience.

Haraway is talking about running with her dog through an obstacle course when she responds to Rorty.
