lmao... if only it took 15 minutes to set up a house.... sadly, its about 6 hours or more depending on your skill... I like to have fun when I play games... not watch a countdown timer for 90% of the time playing a game, sorry, but wurm online, is not fun for anyone with a conscious.

@CircleJerks2009 Well you have to play with a bunch of friends, and the countdown time can be spent by reading or listening to music.

can you tell me a bit about the game?

There is a large 'gap' in the walls, at 7:33 you change the camera and seem to be looking at the interior through this gap.

Is this simply an unfinished wall section or is this a special wall type not found on wooden walled houses?

I'd like a large opening or door on my warehouse to allow a large cart with hitch animal to get through.

@orb505 It's indeed just an unfinished wall section. I think that large doors were in development, Mr. Bloodworth had been working on "something", I never got to know what exactly but he said he was "way ahead of us" making that suggestion. Unfortunately he left the Wurm Online team a short while ago :( Though I'm not really around all the time, I didn't hear anything about large doors/gates for houses again.

wurm would be a prettygood game if the community wasnt full of idiotic Arses and thieves.

Realy the only way around the Wurm community would be to get together 20 friends and start a big protected city, this game is not a lonewolf game (UNLESS LVL 80 in almost everything).

(Part of the reason for the crappy comunity is the ammount of internet trolls and trouble makers these days)

building a house in MortalOnline on your own for tier 1 is 12hrs straight.. Takes 35000 wood, 20000 stone 3500 Steel.. this style building looks nice!

@olemorten14 Not just the houses. Absolutely everything is player-made, I think. Thus the world cities/settlements were built by, their defense and economy run by the players. Even history is written by certain players (not necessarily the victors). Wurm is an excellent sped up simulation of an agrarian fantasy-world, IMO.

@Poisonberry8497 The two games have similarities, they're highly player-influenced, except that Wurm is comparable to most MMO as in, there are only a limited numbers of servers/worlds and the comparably small world that Wurm has, what you do on the server will sure make impressions on the population.

At last, you're going to influence the world everybody lives in and values, being aware of that makes a difference of how I play for sure :-)
