  • thanx I have brown spots on my face after waxing it two times I'm so frustrated.. want to do any thing to make it clear as before.)": hope this will help.. thanx again <3

  • you find tumeric in the spice section of any store. Mainly an east or west indian specialty store. I have used this mask for about 3.5 weeks and i have noticed a huge difference., I dont have to wear a lot of makeup any more. I had horrible acne on my cheeks and forehead and people have asked me what have i been using!! no one has ever told me i have good skin up until now. Thanks tumeric.

  • The best mask for problem skin: Aztec Secret, Indian Healing Clay ($5.99 for 454g by iherb).

  • My favorit is Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel, with Aloe Vera Formula, Alcohol-Free Toner, it's cheap. Only $7.66 for 355ml. I have combination/problem skin. In winter I have sometimes dry spots on my face but this toner helps a lot. I purchased this online by iherb dot com (they ship worldwide and I live in Hungary) and I love it. If you want anything from this site, I have a cupon code if you want order the first time: VIK284 and you have 5$ off.

  • How do you keep this contained? Like in a frigerator or what. And how often do u use it?

  • Thanks for sharing your story. I can relate, because I suffered with acne as a teen. It was horrible. In the end, I found that natural cures worked the best for me, and I tried all kinds of pills and potions that weren't suitable for my type of acne.

What I recommend to others now is a guide called "overnight acne cures" which gives step by step instructions on how to get rid of acne fast.

  • WHERE THE HELL DO YOU BUY TURMERIC POWDER!!!??

  • @AnoBaybii amazon & ebay

  • @tayphuongtinhdo Actually I just checked in the grocery store and I found it in the spice section. No point shipping an item thats easy to get.

  • @AnoBaybii I see, thanks. But how often can you use this mask?

  • My skin is yellow how to i get rid of it!

  • btw how many times do you use.

  • @Naruto1ownsSasuke

2 times a week their is another video that could be more helpful

  • @8vamgel8

How to get clear skin, remove acne, and dark circles <----- thats the video

  • do u use this everyday at night?

  • You can get ORGANIC TURMERIC and Whole Foods (:

  • Where you can get the power?Reply please ;)

  • @bobbyfaye2006 can get it online thru amazon or ebay.com

  • obsessed, doing this this week. i cant wait.

  • uhmmm look like curry

  • for this we have to use "kasthurimanjal" ie a turmeric powder called kasthuri turmeric..not the one we are using in curry

  • Licking

  • Im

  • @victoriaa1320 i meant teaspoon, but because of the camera angle it looks like a tablespoon haha. u can play around with the proportions to suit ur skin :)

  • @muscleslikeryu oh no! I heard terrible things about accutane. I'm sorry you had to go through that. u can definitely give it a try. the good thing is that its natural so its not going to harm ur skin :)

  • all the videos that have this music i take seriously lol

  • @clarkerandolph i better include this in more of my videos then :P

  • I don't think the yellow stain is worth it's benefits... Unless you are of a darker color, you'll look like a simpson... I'll stick with aspirin...

  • @allycatanime the stain is a bit of a pain but it does wash off. the aspirin mask is amazing tho! one of my all-time favourites. this mask is nice to use as a change tho. but u have to stick to what u like and i agree the aspirin mask is ammmmaaazing!

  • and is it a bad idea to use it everyday? lol

    thanks

  • @20musicfreak20 i would be careful using any type of mask daily. you dont want to irritate ur skin. however because it uses all natural ingredients u can use it every day for a week or so i would say and then give ur skin a break. :) Hope this helps.

  • I put on a turmeric and yogurt mask and it worked amazingly for acne! BUT, I hear it can tint ur skin and make it yellow, which i dont wnt lol and i did noticed it definitley leaves some yellow behind. How can i get the yellow off? lol if i use it at night and wash my face with a face acne soap would it get rid of all of the yellow or is it really hard to get off?

    thanks!

  • @20musicfreak20 it wont permanently stain ur skin so you dont have to worry. just do a thorough job cleansing it afterwards. and i wouldnt use it daily. its a great idea to combine it with a milk product because milk products contain acids thats lighten the skin!

  • Creams are good for serious conditions. Health lifestyle is more important - I think.

  • @HowToGetRidAcne Healthy Lifestyle is definitely important! I completely agree. What you do for your body on the insides is reflected on the outside. Creams are great for complementing your lifestyle choices tho. They are an added benefit and also give you a spa-like feeling which is always good :)

  • now that we look like umpa lompass.. haha

  • oompa loompa doopedy doo

  • your beautiful,

    future wife shit <3

  • @TheEpickmusic hahaha. thanks

  • how often can we use this?

  • @MyPeins it depends on your skin type. i would recommend 1-2 times per week. If you have more oily skin u can use it 2-3 times tho :)

  • is the texture suppose to be grain like?

  • @BeckyPLAGUE its more paste-like. it could depend on the type of turmeric you have tho. the one i had is in a powder form

  • do you know what type of milk would be best for this ?

  • @strawberries961 it doesnt matter really. just normal milk of any fat percentage. you can also use yogurt!

  • Thank you for the tips. I have a question please. How often should do it (once/twice a week). I have acne and acne scars that i would like to treat. Thank you again.

  • @hasdou100 it depends on ur skin type. i would recommend 1-2 times per week. but if ur skin is more oily then u can use it more often. 2-3 times i would say. go by how it feels for ur skin. everyone is different. u can also use it in combination with another mask like the honey and tea tree oil mask that i show which is ammmmazing for acne!

  • I heard this stuff stains things easily. I just started using it to clean my insides, but you must brush your teeth after so your don't stain them. Imagine the staining of your face... That's what's your going for no?

  • @BKsFiNeSt08 it doesnt stain ur skin permanently. but yes right after u use it u have to wash ur face thoroughly to wash off the yellowness. you can do a small test patch to try it out. definitely dont want to stain ur face yellow lol.

  • she dont have achne and so you cant see the difference!

  • @parijan123 my skin is very acne-prone. but because i take care of it and use masks regularly i keep my acne under control. hence why i am sharing these recipes with everyone. it worked for me so maybe itll work for others :)

  • I have used this today but with orange lentil. I have posted an article on my blog about this. Thanks for the video!

  • @AintAnotherGuru cool! thats very interesting, ill check it out :)

  • awesome video! one of the best facial mask videos i've seen so far! :)

  • @MsQueenofhearts92 Great! I'm so happy to hear that!! xoxo

  • you look like an oompaloompa with that on!

  • @tlwandherlife hahaha exactly!

  • nice

  • hi what kind of milk should i use? can i use evaporated milk or fresh milk (like high/low fat milk etc.) that we usually buy in a grocery store? thanks! =)

  • @joyze00 yes regular milk is great. doesn't matter what fat percentage. you can also use yogurt :)

  • Great video and you look a little like Christina Ricci!

  • @tinyyuki thanks! and i've never been compared to christina ricci, usually i hear reese witherspoon. thanks tho!

  • is it ok if i use this mask everyday? please answer

  • @jasmine3758 sorry for the delayed response. I wouldnt recommend everyday. but it depends on ur skin type you have to do what u think work for ur skin. i would say max 3 times a week. u shouldnt use any masks daily

  • if i get any left over can i save it for another day?

  • @jasmine3758 u sure can!!

  • nice arms!

  • @MrAsnov haha thanks :)

  • Hello! I am african american and i was wondering does this work on my skin?

  • @beautywithin910 yes it will. it doesnt really lighten but evens the skin tone and helps rid blemishes

  • @beautywithin910 definitely! give it a try :)

  • will the turmeric coz an yellow tinge??

  • @mspragathi yes it will!

  • @mspragathi it does tint ur skin a little bit but it isnt permanent. you can wash it off with a good cleanser :)

  • I can't wait to look like an oompa loompa! I need to find myself some Turmeric! Thanks for the clip, was very interesting and entertaining :)

  • @jennabean879 any time :) let me know how it went if u tried it! I'd love to hear!

  • whenever i try this at home, i end up w/ yellowish colored skin even if i wash my face more than3 times

  • @urilcamm try changing the proportion of the turmeric/milk. use more milk and less turmeric. let me know if u give that a try

  • You give me goussebumps when your talking ... cuz you got the sweetest voice ! Just wanted to put that out there :)

  • @TheLovepotion84 haha thanks :)

  • you look really athletic! thanks for the vid, gonna try it:)

  • @Hell0kitt not too athletic but i try to workout and live a healthy lifestyle as much as i can. thanks!

  • Do you get a particular type of turmeric for this mask? I was reading up about it and people said to get the 'legit' stuff from an Indian food store, not just buy from the supermarket because it could stain your skin for more than a day! I would love to try this but my skin is so pale , I don't want it stained at all.

  • @NekoAesthetic TBH you can use whatever turmeric you see fit, the only real difference is in specialty stores you get huge bags, but that means paying more. Turmeric is turmeric basically. You will feel benefit regardless of which one you choose.

  • @NekoAesthetic i would recommend getting real turmeric, the turmeric at local grocery stores contains synthetic ingredients and isnt as effective. before you use the mask i would do a small test patch and see how ur skin reacts to it. sorry for the extremely delayed response

  • I added a bit of honey to mine, and my face is absolutely glowing. It feels so soft. Thanks for this video!

  • @Lindsayface47 honey is ammmmmazing! check out my honey and tea tree oil mask. one of my favs! glad u liked the video :)

  • looks like two tablespoons...or are teaspoons bigger in your country?

  • @nanu1980 it was a teaspoon but because of the camera angle it looked much larger. u can play around with the proportions tho

  • Thanx I was wondering if u could do it on a specific area got that clear:)

  • @Emochick9287 ive been using this mask and other regularly so my skin is pretty clear overall. i try to take care of my skin constantly because if i dont i break out :(

  • It's very messy. It's gotten over my clothes, stuff around the house, my toothbrush, and so on. And it doesn't matter how much you wash your hands of this stuff, it stays yellow/orange.

  • @DarkReapersGrim Try buying compressed face masks and soak it in a mixture of tumeric and milk. The mask will decompress by that liquid and apply to face. I hope this helps.

  • @Rinsuki Thanks for that advice. I looked at the mask, and they don't get the area under the chin and around the neck, plus I don't know if it's as affective as spreading the substance on my face firsthand. Although, I'm sure you're right, the masks would be less messier than the way I do it now.

  • @DarkReapersGrim yes! it definitely can get messy. i would recommend wearing old clothes and being very careful. u can clean ur house with a little bit of baking soda. i find that it works. the benefits are worth it tho. just have to be careful.

  • @deathwalkerz28 I recommend putting strawberrys in the mask. The acid will help prevent pimples and the acid brighten skin. Your skin feels clean. Doesn't burn, but do apply moisturizer to lock in the effects. You should never do a mask more than two times a week because your skin can become more sensitive.

  • @JustGlamorouslyAlive great advice! strawberries are amazing! i love playing around with different ingredients in my homemade masks. thats why i give info and benefits of all the ingredients i use in my masks that way u can see what ingredients u can mix together to suit ur skin type :)

  • you're so fake, like ur reading from a script or something. :/

  • @sherrx0x0 I do a lot of research before I make these videos. Theres a lot of information that I want to convey to my viewers so I do write out what i want to say. I dont read it word for word tho. And it definitely doesnt make me "fake" if I'm just trying to give you the most information I can.

  • @sherrx0x0 how does that make her fake? she's trying to help you dude. plus she's just trying to be clear about it.

  • @ElenaStarbeam awww thanks for standing up for me!!! I really appreciate it <3

  • @Taste4Beauty that's ok :) and thanks for the great tip! x

  • @deathwalkerz28 It works, but leaves you yellow. You must wash off with soap. I hAve comedo acne and it did dry out my zits and plumped up some of the scars.

  • @JustGlamorouslyAlive Thanks for the advice, may I know is it mandatory to mix the turmeric powder with milk? And after applying the turmeric powder with milk on the face, what is the feeling? Is it burning?

  • @deathwalkerz28 Component in tumeric that is beneficial is fat soluble so I would think milk is sort of mandatory and no it doesn't burn well at least not for me.

  • Seriously speaking, does anyone who has acne scars or pigmentation got improved after using turmeric powder with milk? Because normally the video shown, their skin is perfect.. What i am concern about is, is there anyone who has severe acne scars and having reddish skin got cured or improved by using turmeric powder? Please share, thanks.

  • @deathwalkerz28 I'm of Indian descent, this is used in India before wedding rituals, to brighten up the to be glowing brides face. You have to be consistent with it, it will leave a yellow stain if you do it too much, easy way to get that off is with lemon juice. While on my vacation I did this consistently and I could say that I had very clear and lighter skin than I do right now. If you're dark skinned as in choco complexion, you won't see that dramatic of a difference.

  • @nazmushroom Thanks for the advice, so how often should I apply the turmeric powder with milk within a week? Is it recommendable to do it daily?

  • @deathwalkerz28 Oily skin, 2 times a week. Dry skin once a week. It's like a mask, you wouldn't want to do it too much.

  • great video

  • @freeacnemedication thanks!

  • great video

  • @freeacnemedication thank you :)

  • where can i buy that? and how much?

  • oompa loompas haha

  • Great video! It works excellently for emergency face lightening. But did you know that turmeric burns like hell when you put it on your face? Well since you tried it, you know how uncomfortable it is to stay with turmeric on your face for longer than 10 seconds. The worst part is when you wash it off. It burns even more while and after you wash it off. It burns everywhere. In the eyes, nostrils and face. So, people, you might want to get an ice pack before you do this.

  • @aditi1998 I am from India and have used turmeric all my life. I never felt any burning sensation... I never even heard of it from anybody else that used it. Probably the turmeric you used is contaminated or has another ingredient that causes the burn. But why is it in your eyes though?

  • so,, this doesnt give you permenant fair skin??

  • @TheMixturemachine It definitely lightens your skin to a certain extent. But you have to upkeep it, make sure that you dont get sunspots, etc.

  • @TheMixturemachine

can i just apply turmeric powder without milk on my face?

  • @deathwalkerz28 i think you can, turmeric itself works well. your face gets really yellow after washing, so u'll need to wash it off with water many times

  • How many times a week do we do this?

  • @kirpaangad it depends on your skin type. If you have oily skin you can do it up to 3 times a week. if you have more sensitive skin you can do it 1-2 times a week. Also if you have lighter skin you may want to do it less because it can stain your skin for a bit (it's not permanent!)

  • In another video tutorial, the girl said to also add a certain flour and almond oil. Can you use these ingredients as well?

  • @saharinvenezia For sure! There are many different varieties for homemade masks. Thats what's so awesome about them ... you can customize them by using the ingredients that you have available to you. The gram flour actually also helps minimize straining :)

  • @DeadHandsome25 I wouldnt suggest using curry. Perhaps you can try another store? If you have a store that carried indian products thats ur best bet! I'm sorry im replying so late i have been extremely busy (as you may have noticed by the lack of videos).

  • were do you get turmeric powder??

  • @bigboy94315 you can get it at either a grocery stores or if ur local one doesnt have it try a ethnic stores ... its an indian spice so if you know of an store that sells indian products they might carry it.

  • wont it make your skin yellow???

  • @rohiniyourohinitube it does stain your skin a bit but its not permanent. you can easy wash it out using a gentle cleanser. if you're worried you can do a small test patch first

  • @DeadHandsome25 turmeric is also known as saffron , see if you get that

  • @seygra20 turmeric is not same as saffron..

  • @rohiniyourohinitube thanks for commenting on that! i further explained how they are not the same in the original post.

  • @rohiniyourohinitube Yeah, Saffron is definitely a city in Pokemon. Tumeric is not. Jeesh, people.

  • @seygra20 turmeric is not same as saffron..

  • @seygra20 Unfortunately turmeric and saffron are not the same thing. They come from different sources. The reason they may be confused is because they can be used to substitute each other in recipes since they are similar in color and taste.

  • @Taste4Beauty thanks

  • Oh yeah i forgot, you could use Extra virgin olive oil, but there are other oils you can use, but dont use canola :)

  • @McJenn2016 Yup! EVOO is my go to oil. We always have it at home and its great for ur skin. U can also use avocado oil :)

  • The opening music in this video is like a Javanese traditional song.. :D ..love it !

    great video !

but maybe I do not use 'turmeric powder' (I don't have it) :(.

I have a lot of turmeric plants in my home garden and after watching ur video, I began to cultivate turmerics and process them into paste using food processor.,then I add milk to it. just like you do in the video. Thank's! My face will free from acne! ^ ^

by the way, u r beautiful as Portia Doubleday^ pretty.

  • @etystefanie thanks for leaving that sweet comment. I didnt know that the song that I chose is like a Javenese traditional song ... thats cool though! Let me know how your skin reacts to this mask!

  • just did this mask..it makes ur skin really soft ! i think it works great :)

  • @SM7474 thats awesome! I'm so happy to hear that :)

  • I love how you say 'lighten and brighten'! Great Video :)

  • @Vishwanniee hahaha. Thanks for watching! xoxox

  • @Taste4Beauty lol, just two question...I've heard that turmeric is also a good hair remover. If I put it on my face does that mean all the hair will fall off (including my eyebrows)? And the other...can I buy any packaged turmeric or should I but the raw one?...reason I'm asking is because I read while doing research that the packaged turmeric aren't really the 'pure' ones. Thanks again.

  • @Vishwanniee I've never tried using turmeric to remove hair. I did come across a couple articles about it when researching for this mask. I feel like it would not work on course, thick hair. However if you have fine facial hair I think it would be worth a try. I would just look at the packed turmeric ingredient list. It could be that they just packaged pure turmeric. But it could also be a mixture so just see what the ingredient list says.

  • oh and nice vid :)

I dont know if you have a vid on Jojoba oil, but that stuff works on acne pron skin :)

Helps clears up your skin :)

  • what could help to remove the colour that is still on the skin is oil, it should come off easy, but dont use engine oil LOL.

anyways, oil does help remove like a stuck ring on finger or use as a make-up remover, but i dont know if it will help remove the colour on the skin. dont use grease from meats, that is gross, just use any kind oil from a plant like jojoba, vegetable oil etc.

  • @McJenn2016 Jojoba oil is great! I will definitely give it a try when removing this mask. thanks for watching and leaving a comment :)

  • is it safe to apply it so near/on undereye area?

  • @cheeky3300 I would recommend not using it around your eye only because it does stain your skin a bit (don't worry you can wash it off!) but because the skin around your eye is extremely thin and delicate you don't want to irritate it.

  • Your skin looks the same after using the mask !

    How did u wash it?

I heard that it's not easy to wash and I'll be completely yellow!!!

I really want to try but I have fair skin so I'm scared a little bit...:(

  • @amisgh Definitely wasn't easy to wash off. The first time i did it I freaked out because I thought i was going to be orange but then i found that just washing it with a mild soap for longer works! You can also use a scrub if you wish. You can make an easy one urself using virgin oil and sugar.

  • Wow! I have to try :D

  • @amisgh let me know what you think if you do!

  • I did this and It worked for me. thanks! that is why I really trust you. :)) XD

  • @hepziee awww!!! thanks! that means a loooott to me :)

  • @Taste4Beauty Yeah. Fantastic! :) i got my skin burnt last week cos' we went to the beaqch but when i used it again. My skin went fair. so nice. :)

  • Where can you find the Turmeric stuff?

  • @SimpleeStunning You can either find it at a grocery store or an ethnic food store

  • I put it in yogurt

  • i think im in love with this channel< surprisingly i dint know wat tumeric was hahaha n im indian but thanx =)

  • @doo0shbag11 awwww thanks! I love indian food and thats how I first came across it.

  • i did this but it was a scrub and ohemjesus it was hard to take off the orange crap haha i felt like i even had it on after i scrubbed my face.

  • @ohemgeexoxo ya the first time i did it I freaked out because i thought i wasnt going to be able to wash it off. But it does come off and so i decided to keep doing it and i really enjoyed the results. they were worth the extra time it took to wash up. I also don't do it consecutively because i dont want the colour to build up lol. so i do it like once a week sometimes less. But i change between masks. every couple of months i play around with a new mask

  • thx dear!!! ;D

  • @AlbumLeViola np :) Thanks for watching!

  • can i apply it all over my body?
