I also live in Stuyvesant Town. I can't believe they want to take the money that we over paid, and use it to patch up a city budget "shortfall" by means of restitution of the J51 tax incentive by landlords to the city.

I paid rent. I over paid rent. I would like that back. And as for the trebble damages, I could even do without that. Just give me back my fair amount owed.

If Senator Krueger thought it was as simple as an excell spreadsheet, how come this hasn't happened yet!!!!

I live in Stuyvesant Town, thank you Liz Krueger! Young's refusal to name the bill's lobbyists spoke volumes. Young's piece of crap bill is nothing more than a bought and paid for end run around the courts -- the courts which are the third independent branch of our state gov't.
