Nobody seems to notice the opening swimming pool scene was a spoof of the famous Phoebe Cates scene in Fast Times at Ridgemont High. They even played the same Cars song.

Goodness I loved this show. it's too bad JJ ruined it by blowing up SD-6. The moved to make the show less confusing, made it even MORE confusing, because you had to guess whether Arvin Sloane was "friend or foe". At least with SD-6, you knew he was the enemy. And then giving Syd a sister, and the stuff with Vaughn. *sigh*

I understand all of that, but we're not talking about the real world. We are talking about a TV show who they were TRYING to draw more viewers to because the general complaint was that the show was too confusing to follow. The move to blow up SD-6 was done for that purpose. It only made the show more confusing.
