  • ya this is fucking retarded... get a chain breaker and a pair of pliers..shit is 20 bucks.. so much easier then grinding shit and u would need a grinder to do this

  • Your a fucking dumbass

  • @240max1 I found this useful.

I also find your (not "you're") attempt at insulting another individual's intellect without using proper grammar just a bit unconvincing...

  • Dumbass.

  • I reckon its easier to put the link on an upside down socket, and tap the pin out with a pop rivet and hammer, so easy.

  • Can I grind it with sand paper?

  • no chain tool ??

  • funniest shit ever. lmfao

  • WTF? pointy screw driver type thing? get a chain braker man!

  • Tony07uk why don't u put a big dick were your mouth is . Your the idiot this is a video for people that don't have a chain breaker u Moran.

  • Tony07uk

  • or the ghetto way, a screwdriver a hammer, and a lot of wedging

  • Basically .. you haven't got a clue! Ever heard of chain-link extractors .. they're tools designed to do the job properly! Idiot!

  • i thought your gonna use the angle grinder lool

  • wow your so stupid you can get a axel nut a hamer and a nail the pin out the link or get a 10 dollar or an expensive chain breaker

  • would this work for a BMX chain?

  • Thanks Friend.

You Have To Be Stupid Not To Understand This

i Could Understand Even If He Was Spekaking Another

    Language

  • @outlawrider16 or u just get a chain tool

  • Thx I needed to remove the chain off my vintage bike without damage

  • vaeeryy helpful for people like mee that dont go out to buy fagot tools xp just use wat u got

  • did you do both front and back or just front

  • useless

  • How NOT to do it.

Why would you spend half a day botching it? Using the proper tools you'd have had it done in 5 mins and it wouldn't look half-assed or mechanically ruined.

I'd hate to think what the rest of the poor bike is like.

  • your doint it wrong

  • absolutely useless video.

  • y not just save $5 and buy a chain breaker???

  • does it stuff up ur chain or weakin it

  • so your telling me that i just grind the thingy down, then use a flat thingy screwdriver to pop the thingy of the thingy?

  • Or you can buy a 5 $ chain tool from wallmart

  • just grind down the pin to the link n take a nail set and tap it out.

  • how do you put back together?

  • you austrailians are funny as fuck. go on then, good effort lad hahah

  • @pinhead1990 dick

  • @cunnyfunt666 what is your problem iv come on here, give this guy a bit of incoragement, havin a laugh. then i get you comin givin me shit i dont think dendonv101 appreciates you talkin to other viewers the way you do. so if i was you id take a step back and look who really is the keyboard warrior

  • you dont need to grind the link you need to get a flat head and hammer it in between the link

  • @outlawrider16 yep.

  • @brendonv101 how do you put it back on?

  • thank you!

  • that helped alot man thanks

  • that helped alot man thanks

  • you tool!

  • What size is a normal bicycle chain?

Is it the same as a 35 chain or 40/41 chain?

  • @jonasmyrv Normal bike chain is usually imperial 40# or metric #8 which are the exact same thing. 4/8 = 0.5 8/16= 0.5

  • a chain tool in australia can't cost that much.

  • So amateur that it was actually bulk funny LOL

  • I've done it that way but now I punch the pin out with a nail that I ground the point down, and to put it together I just tap the pin back in. but I want to real soon get a tool for the job. and some 1/2 Links while I'm at it, but that's another mater.

  • not helpful

  • you doing the hard way!! hit with a center punch on a 1/4 socket. It take lees than a minute!! Your video is 2:48 min.

  • Thanks Man! I needed that.

  • Could you do a video on how to connect it back together please ??

  • Thin centre punch and a block of steel with a hole works also, and the link pin is still usable if needed.

  • i was the first to say you should make a video of how to remove a link

  • Why not just use a simple link remover?

  • its cheaper this way.

  • @brendonv101 Dude if u buy a vice and a grinder and that flat head screw driver will cost u more then just buying a 20$ link remover

  • @firehype2 True but a grinder can be used for 1000 different things. I use it nearly every day. The vice a use everyday and the flathead screwdriver i also use everyday. A link remover, hrmmm. Once a year? For the time it takes me to go online and order it i could of already taken the link out 10 times.

  • wowo you really werent ready with that vice haha. well thats pretty much how i do it so it has to be the right way! nah jokesXD

  • lol yer i wasnt, just was doing n thought, "hey, why not film this".

  • I dont grind them. Use a chain breaker or just hold it in the vice similar to that and hit the pin out using a punch....
