  • Awesome awesomness! Big thumbs up!!!!

  • uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

  • Are there Elektor Formant modules at 03:20 ?

  • AWESOME! ÄCIIIIIIID!

  • this is great !

  • these are the coolest old people ever!!!:p

  • CRISP!!!

  • Alla faccia di quelli che usano l'iMac in discoteca senza sapere nemmeno dove sta di casa la musica!!!!

  • I agree with you. Both the ways, analog & digital are usefull, it depends what kind of music you want to make. In the 90s, when I was working on world music I found myself more confortable with digital synths because they matched better the acustics. Analog synths create a different universe.. Obviously you can hardly create that universe using digital gadgets.

  • 0:48 amazing!!!!!!

why we should argue what's better - analog-hardware or computer-software? we should be glad that there are so much possibilities and we should appreciate the creations and preferences of each other.

how can one think it could be the SAME playing with his ipod as what these two guys do TOGETHER in this wonderful cellar-chamber in which there are all these nice instruments looking like the control-room of an old sci-fi-spaceship?

  • @fiufau fuck you very much for this compliment! :-)

  • great sound !!!

  • Amazing.

  • Cant stop listening, You people do understand your instruments.

  • It's everything I always dreamed my own techno analog studio to be! Excellent job guys... It's been a number of years, but I know the feeling of controlling thousands of knobs and faders to compose and mix a track in real time. I miss that feeling! Seeing done so well and video-documented makes me miss it even more! Your track is excellent! Nothing is better than analog modules of all types creating something real with melody and harmony! Not just that minimal schwag that became so popular. 5 *s

  • this is so good.

  • i like this live music..I'm listening again and again..very good!!!

  • superlativi..!!!

  • you are so sexxxy!!!

  • Full Screen, 1/2 an Expresso, and .........OH- My Boggie Shoes!!!

  • Looks like it was in a cold Garage?

  • gr8 stuff i wish i could do the same

  • gr8 stuff and a great inspiration :)

  • Just wow!

  • and i thought it didnt get better, these sessions are amazing. hope to see you in Los Angeles sometime mr. robotnick.

  • Buurman & Buurman !

  • @Barrrrt22 dont get all pissy but your technobox will sound thin and tinny next to these analogue beasts. im sure your proud of your 99 cent iphone apps but theres a reason people still put money down on real machines. look, feel, personality, and production flow are just a few of the reasons why real synths still win. show me one full track arranged and mixed on an iphone that doesnt sound like it was played with a permanent hi pass and you can have a cookie.

  • @iammagyar correct man.peaple play an iphone and plugin application in computer and they think make music!permanent hi pass is secondari problem.real problem is much peaple don't say never about sound and acustic.now all are dj & music producer!!! and real one take in the back.i've 35old and the little kids pretend say more than me because they use application software...

  • @morpheoist computers and applications are amazing, they can do anything and most important, they make music "production" easy and available to almost anyone, it allows more stuff to be created. When the few people who get good at it do it for long enough, they realize the sounds are much better from hardware, much more fun and it just looks so freaking cool.

    App = Jesus

Hardware = God on steroids when someone spilled a drink over his moog modular.

  • @Barrrrt22 believe me:with the same price of iphone you can buy real groovebox or similar like roland or korg and you must see, hear, touch the difference, and maibe a more sound&synthesis culture!!!LOL

  • Dumpert voor ouwe mannen!

  • Very good. Really good. keep up!!!

  • @nelsonfr

  • This brought back memories from my childhood. Long nights in front of my Roland D-20. While watching this I floated away with the music just like back then. It completely changed my state of mind. I caught more than a glimpse of my original source of inspiration. Thank you!

  • ASCENSION ENGAGE

  • Will you perform on my wedding?

    this is brilliant... :)

  • THE REAL DEAL.

  • i can't belive how old they are!

is it any genre of ACID?

  • @LomovNizni What has their Age got to do with? The Sones are older :). Or because they play electronic music wich is now more than 60 years old? I would call that Dance Music. The Term "Acid" or "Acid-House" was discovered in the early to mid 80's and made great use of the Synthesizer TB303 as the lead instrument wich is not present here. Also the arrangements were mostly more minimalistic like in that tune here. They just jam with their Synths - without any genre thinking. Cheers!

  • Every time I watch this that first change almost brings a tear to my eye!

  • Mr. Maurizio, I had never heard from you until i found these analog sessions. You seem to be quite a hero in the music world. I prefer these analog sessions very much over your previous work. I hope you keep on making them! They have a darker and rougher edge to it. It's great to see you AND your companion make the music.

Thank you very much for posting them!!! (And keep on posting them, please).

what is the piano kind of thingey with the yellow keys? what is it's name? lovely sounds come out of that machine :)

  • @Apezak1985 EDP Wasp

  • Briliant!

  • @Ramazed : What do you mean? Obviously the act is staged (2 days to set-up our equipment). Obviously the note sequences have been written before (it's electronic music is'nt it?). The video has been realised using two video-cameras. The act was about 30 minutes long, so we made few long cuts. To avoid rough cuts we inserted some post production shots of details.

  • @Ramazed And your point being ???? This type of performance takes a lot of work beforehand, that's why it is so good.
