@SgtDemkheive Maybe "fear" was the wrong word to use. They AVOID using the dark side because they don't want to be taken over by it.

And I think the key to being a Jedi is the rejection of the pursuit of power. They use the Force to defend others and themselves, and that's it (at least, that's what the ideal Jedi does).
