Most attacks on kids are when the dog isnt part of the familly. My dog is great with my kids but bring my brothers kids and they dont see them as part of the pack I have GSheps but pitt bulls are great with the family kids.
My friend has a pitbull and it helped me get over my fear of dogs. This dog is the most loving creature on earth! His father was an undefeated in 32 fights monster in Europe. The guy told me it's not the dogs. It's the trainers that cause issues with the dog.

It was part of the legendary Colby bloodline. The AKC refuses to recognise the American Pitbull Terrier as a breed so "American Staffordshire Terrier" had to suffice.

Although at least for ONCE you are correct, that dog definitely as AmStaff in him, but his overall body is a bit too thin to be pure, and his head too big, I'd say he's most likely half APBT, and Half AmStaff.

@xWolfHauntx I wasn't going by UK standards. The UKC is an American kennel club. Incidentally the first "Amstaff" registered in the AKC was a Pitbull also registered in the UKC as a Pitbull. It was part of the legendary Colby bloodline. The AKC refuses to recognise the American Pitbull Terrier as a breed so "American Staffordshire Terrier" had to suffice.

And yes, being as I own an AmStaff that came from Colby lines, I am knowledgeable as this fact. @GroinFaceGroin Yeah, I know the AmStaff and the APBT came from the same dog, that is why Primo was used for the AmStaff standard event though Colby called his dogs APBTs, because back then, they were the same, but now, I think they are very different breeds. I mean you hardly get a TRUE APBT that is over 70lbs or even 70lbs, while male AmStaffs can easily get over that, not by much, but they can be over, and that is just one difference.

Very tolerant dog. I wouldn't blame him if he bit a kid that was treating him like this. 99% of the time an attack wouldn't happen if the child/person had been taught to read a dog's body language, or if the person was not mistreating and harassing (or inadvertently hurting) the dog. Everyone has a breaking point, but dogs can only say "STOP IT!" by growling/biting - and that makes them "vicious". It's not their fault when humans are too dumb/selfish to treat them respectfully.

Get that child OFF that dog! Dogs are not meant to be ridden like that, it can hurt them. Also that is awful video quality. I love how tolerant the dog is and how you didn't let the big child get on her but that really can hurt the poor girl. But this type of treatment can anger dogs and trigger some of the attacks you hear about. What if while you weren't looking the big child got on her and hurt her, she might lash out in pain and really hurt him, then they'd blame the dog.

I personally own an Albino pitbull. He's a redo jaco and razor edge mix. He is my sons best friend and second most protective only to myself. Unfortunately, there are evil people everywhere and yes, the working dog known as the pitbull has been the most exploited dog for dog fighting. They are banned but people still breed them. It's the people who use these animals for illegal purposes who should be band and labeled DANGEROUS.

And The Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 bans the breeding and sale or exchange of four kinds of dog - pit bull terriers, Japanese Tosas, the Dogo Argentinos, and the Fila Brasileiros.
