Okay. Hitler was to the UK from the post-WW2 era well into the mid-late 20th century as Bin Laden was to America up until even today. The Nazis devastated the England in a close and intimate way, the same way Bin Laden's terror cells executed a close-to-home attack on American soil. Both were terrible men, both were evil, but both were/are poked fun at in slapstick and satirical ways in very similar fashion. Neither Britons nor Americans sympathise at all with the ideals of those they portray.

For those who don't know what this is - these clips were never meant for public consumption - they were produced each Christmas by the VT editing departments of the two main British Broadcasters (then BBC and ITV) and presented in their various Christmas parties. Until the age of you tube and publish your own videos, strict control was kept on these tapes as many portrayed famous people in their time in compromising situations - without their permission for distribution.
