Very nice, good driver fast car but still he's not shifting fast enough and overrevs the engine. And you can't blame that on the loss of traction because there is none.

due to it being an FWD, most likely this car is breaking traction & hitting rev limiter very quickly thru 1st and 2nd. it's not about shifting it's about throttle control, which is obviously tough in a FWD with that much power with a turbo... turbo's don't lay the power out sequentially, it's a curve .... once you get a turbo or car with real power noob, you've got NFI.
It's about weight transfer. At rest, yes the majority of the weight is on the front tire. But, when you step on the gas, the weight goes to the back. When you are sitting in the car and you step on it, you get forced into the seat, right? Same happens with the rest of the car. That is why most drag cars are RWD, unless they are racing in a FWD class. All else being equal, the RWD car will win every single time.

If you are beating those cars as you claim, which I doubt, then it is because all else is NOT equal, such as, tire quality, DRIVER QUALITY, weight, proper car setup. If you are racing against a 1970 Buick Electra with a one legger rear, a stock auto, junkyard tires and a 16 year old driver, you probably have it in the bag even though that 455 makes 510 ft lbs of torque.

Considering his 60' times are probably lousy, the fact that he was trapping at just under 130mph makes this car fast period, not even just for a Honda. That's roughly about the same speed a stock C6 Z06 will trap at, so if he threw some drag radials on it this car would be a nice little weapon.

That wasn't the limiter he was bouncing off during the launch, was launch control, set to around 4k-ish sounded like to me. You can hear the difference in how high it revs with the clutch in vs. how high it revs on clutch out. Although this guy should learn how to control his wheel spin a little better after launch.

And they weigh I think 2650 or so without someone in it. But 19psi on a supercharger...and only 420hp? I laugh at people who get bad tuners. I made 405 on 16, with a 60 trim. And 530 on 24. But yeah. B16s are 5 speed, and k20s are 6 in a type s. But say, a stock ITR. 195hp at the crank, I think they make 169hp to the wheels. I made 530 at the wheels.

The numbers were just a guess on the HP rating im not positive about how much he is pushing but i know its up there. That is supercharged boosting 19 pounds pushing around 420hp shouldnt have to much of a problem spinning 1st through 4th.....remember it wont lose as much horsepower going from the crank to the wheels.....it doesnt have far to travel.....think about it....

turbo crx's can be a handfull to drive. i thought he did a pretty good job. mine runs 14.3's at 8psi . its 30k mile ZC motor. tenabe exhust. no A/C.

Considering his 60' times are probably lousy, the fact that he was trapping at just under 130mph makes this car fast period, not even just for a Honda. That's roughly about the same speed a stock C6 Z06 will trap at, so if he threw some drag radials on it this car would be a nice little weapon.

not really....if you know how to drive its not that hard....my boy has a supercharged RSX-S that'll litterally light up 1st through 4th if he smashes on it....but if he just doesnt give the car all its got when he launches and THEN smashes after life 4k RPMs he hooks up clean....but bouncing the shit off the rev limiter isnt going to get the car to grip on the launch.....common since....

That wasn't the limiter he was bouncing off during the launch, was launch control, set to around 4k-ish sounded like to me. You can hear the difference in how high it revs with the clutch in vs. how high it revs on clutch out. Although this guy should learn how to control his wheel spin a little better after launch.

ok, but i dont care that much. it takes alot of power to keep the wheels spinning in 4th gear. My hatchback would do 3rd, nothing ridiculous, but it would spin. It was a b16.

Well, I don't think you are stupid or nothing. I'm not a dumb asshole that makes up 99% of youtube. But I'm pretty sure RSX-S are 2 litres, k20. And they weigh I think 2650 or so without someone in it. But 19psi on a supercharger...and only 420hp? I laugh at people who get bad tuners. I made 405 on 16, with a 60 trim. And 530 on 24. But yeah. B16s are 5 speed, and k20s are 6 in a type s. But say, a stock ITR. 195hp at the crank, I think they make 169hp to the wheels. I made 530 at the wheels.

The numbers were just a guess on the HP rating im not positive about how much he is pushing but i know its up there. Anywho I know what I am saying is true to the best of my knowledge and im not saying yours isnt but you can believe me or not believe me either is fine.

That is supercharged boosting 19 pounds pushing around 420hp shouldnt have to much of a problem spinning 1st through 4th.....remember it wont lose as much horsepower going from the crank to the wheels.....it doesnt have far to travel.....think about it....
