  • this is not real, is it?

  • The house had been given, as Glasstone states, "a white exterior finish in order to reflect the thermal radiation and minimize the chance of fire.

man, the glasstone report refert to the video called "Nevada Test", and that sentences is referred to fig 5.55 on chapter 2.

  • Isn't that just scary and incredible the way that intense heat sears and blackens everything? Then just a secon later, blows everything away (and apart)? :\

  • at 0:34 those are pigs. I fell bad for those pigs.

  • @DomImaBoss I always thought those were cameras or something else! They were pigs?! :(

  • @DomImaBoss sure sure in u tube there is noempathythe youngerthe morescummier not you but others

  • That is really creepy... If we ever use one, especially over a god that doesn't exist, were fucking retarded. No wonder Aliens haven't visited us...

  • these things scare the fucking shit out of me...why don't we just get rid of every nuke...if we fought a war blasting these all over the world it would be the end

  • Only Chuck Norris can survive this one..wew

  • 0:27 Shit now I gon have to go back in the streets

  • Good thing today isn't like fallout.

  • How can you shoot an atomb bomb with a canon?

  • @sighisoaraa: Just like you saw. The shell was an 800 lb "gun type" configuration bomb known as a Mark 9 AFAP (artillery fired atomic projectile). This is the only one ever actually expended.

  • 1:30 my house

  • CRAP MY HOUSE

  • ohh i like the part at :54 seconds...like miny clouds on the floor

  • I bet the kids on the bus at 0:50 who Ducked and Covered are alright.

  • scary, scary...I've heard winds around 650mph & 7000 degrees F heat.

  • a weapon so powerful it should never be used

  • Really is a terrible thing to do to animals. They just get fried by the thermal flash, most of them probably surviving until being euthanized however long later.

  • Why did many of the buildings in Hiroshima still have glass in them after the city was bombed?

  • @FirstClassSkeptic most of the damage in hiroshima was caused by the fire started by the bomb rather than the blast or heat from the bomb itself most japanese buildings at the time where still largley made of wood and rice paper with stone shingled roofs the paper was ignited by the flash from the bomb which then caught the wooden frame on fire once the frame weakend enough the heavy roof would collaps and flatten the building.

the same thing happend durring the firebombings

  • @wild50gunner If the characteristics at Hiroshima resembled firebombing, then how do you know that Hiroshima wasn't just firebombed? What makes you think that an atomic bomb was used on Hiroshima?

  • @FirstClassSkeptic 1 radiation

2 there was only one plane and one plane couldn't carry enough fire bombs(that was why none of the Japanese where in the bomb shelters 1 plane= scout, 50 planes= attack)

3 a great many of the survivors had flash burns consistent with a nuclear attack

4 while the majority of the damage was caused by the fire there was a aproximatly 1 square mile area that did take considerable blast damage suggesting a verry large explosion

  • @wild50gunner 3 a great many of the survivors had flash burns consistent with a nuclear attack

    How would you know that?

Napalm will burn flesh. I say that the burns at Hiroshima were consistent with a napalm attack. They look the same as victims of napalm attacks in Vietnam.

  • @FirstClassSkeptic nuclear flash burns are not the same as burns from napalm, I will conceed that when the person is burnt to a crisp it can be hard to tell the differance however people a good distance away from the nuke basicaly get a bad sunburn on whichever side was faceing the blast napalm doesnt realy cause flash burns and you can be pretty close to the fire and be fine as long as you dont get any on you.

  • @wild50gunner So how do you know they didn't just strap a few people down to a tanning table, and burn them?

Also, John Hershey said, in his New Yorker mag. article, that the people who got burned didn't get radiation sickness as bad as the people who weren't. So the people outside who were most exposed got the least radiation sickness. That doesn't add up.

  • I hope they drop one on my fuckin ex wife first.

  • Epic Music is Epic

  • 3 no-good hippies

  • the thing is so bright houses instantly ignite, then the shock wave puts the house out as it blows it away, then sucks it back up...

  • @rich1051414 Those are models of houses. They're just small, sitting on a table. These films were made at Lookout Mountain studio, for the most part.

  • Nuclear weapon is a weapon from hell capable of causing immeasurable death

  • how are images like 0:20 possible; how the hell do they protect the camera from heat?

  • s the potential to render the area into which it is dropped uninhabitable by any living thing for years, and radiate any plant any plant that grows from the grows from that ground and any animal that walks that area for DECADES

  • @FLORIDAMARK007 Within a month after Hiroshima was bombed, it was covered in regrown vegetation. And none of it was mutant.

  • I dont know why its use is so controversial. its just a bomb with a bigger blast radius.

  • @glennjridge Any animal that consumes those plants or animal products will suffer birth defects and cancer for generations. According to the composition of weapon and megaton capacity it could make ground zero UNINHABITABLE TO ANY LIVING thing for THOUSANDS YEARS.....

  • offering no tactical advantage whatsoever.

  • i think that nuclear bombs and a nuclear holocaust is interesting like id never ever in a bagilion years want it to happen but thanks to bethesda for buying the licnese to fallout now i kan live out my fantasies^^ lolz im so weird

  • Silence this video.

Open up /watch?v=YwBWfQVUL3g in another tab

    ?????

    Profit !

  • cant wait for it to be sold on ebay.

  • what music is this?

  • chuck norris has a woofer like this

  • wht were those white smoke lines after the explosion

  • That mushroom explosion effect kinda looks like my penis.

  • I love my country! :)

  • holly fuck you dont realize how big the explosion is until the camera zooms in closer.

  • holy shit XD

  • this is your future unless you stop iran.

  • @nic190 this is the future inless we stop the US as well and with it most of Eroup china and any country that has the their hands on such a weapon, dont give me that US will never use one of these crap. ofcores they will they will use it like Iran or any other contry would. time ticks ever closer for himatiy for all our intelligence where stupid to greed.

  • @tbows7 "ofcores"... yeah, core has indeed something to do with this.

  • NICE!

  • 00:33 poor pigs

  • what house is the description talking about?

the house i saw wasnt standing...?

  • Nuke Cannon... so badass

  • God's wrath on America is imminent....

  • HAHAha I llllllLLLLOVE NUKES!! I wish I had one. I'd give it to the Middle East for free...

  • @GeorgeBonez

you do not know what you are speaking about, idiot.

  • @shnimaxxx Huh? I dont know that I like NUKES? Do you know more about me than,,,,,,,,,me? I think that the US should give the Mid-East "ALL" of our Nukes, dropping one by one from a Stealth Bomber flying high above or ICBM is fine too. Old nasty Muslim popping like water balloons. Yeah thats a lovely thought. OH I feel so cozy and warm right now. Im moved to tears of JOY JOY JOY deep in my heat, Deep in my heart, Deep in my heart. Whoa I broke out in song there didnt I/ hahahahahahahaha

  • nuclear test scientist* "we got every one out of that house right?" soldier nearby* " ehh i think so, oh wait...no" scientist* "ehh who cares"

  • That. Was. Epic.

  • song makes it scary

  • wow everthing is dusty

  • I was born in 1955. On that year, in the United States, Operation Cue was televised nationwide. It was also the year when Hydrogen bombs were being detonated by both sides. Considering the radiation with its Gamma, Infra-Red, and X-Rays, the blast (of x per psi) and gust, hurricane force winds, and contamination from fallout, it is incredible that we are still alive. I can still recall the drills we did at school such as duck and cover in 1961. The shot seen here is Operation Upshot-Knothole.

  • shitty added sounds...

  • The Mushroom cloud - A symbol of how fucked up humanity has become.

  • pussy!

  • @1976FordGuy Ha Ha, go camp at Fukshima for a few weeks (tough guy).

  • @1madaboutguitar and a symbol of how it can be ended if we wanted to be extra cynicall.

  • That must of been an early prototype for the "Fatman" in "Fallout 1".

  • so awesome to see the paint on the cars evaporate like voosh xD

  • @Hellsystem666ify thats one way to remove paint :D

  • Arent those stripes in the air coming from rockets?

  • @MrNicolas1002 I've wondered about those vertical lines of smoke, also. The best answer I've heard is that they come from guide wires anchoring balloons with sensors on them for the test. When the flash happens, the guide wires vaporize. That's not a definite answer, but it makes the most sense, given what you see before and after the flash.

  • @lenarends No, they are smoke rockets launched at set intervals. It's to create a grid-like pattern in mid air for reference of shock wave movement.

  • @lenarends Nope, they are sounding rockets. Right before the explosion, they fire one after another so when the bomb goes off, they can get data from a bunch of slightly different altitudes.

  • I was surprised that the tyres on the vehicles didnt explode.

  • .1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 Cal.?

  • @XiLexisX ten caliber?

  • The new kind of cleaning!

  • @jmtc3 You are right. This is footage including that of much larger nuclear devices. The 155 artillery gun that is at the start of the video, while it could fire nukes, wouldn't be able to fire something that destructive.

  • @TiminPhoenix 280mm caliber, not 155.

  • The sound files are fake. You wouldn't hear the explosion as soon as it hit. D:

  • what does it exactly does?

    does it desintegrate?

  • As far as I know from what limited physics I do know, the output of an atomic bomb IS heat. The fallout is unstable atoms that will give or take electrons or whatever to stabilize, whether it be in reference to our DNA or something else. I could be wrong, but I think that the matter is transformed into pure energy in the form of photons. You have the visible output, the EMP, and intense heat, all photons. Everything else is consequential. People don't just burn; they turn to carbon in seconds.

  • trees didn't burn...didn't even break; bus rolled over, but survivable; house disintegrated but not made for such cause and effect; in short a horrendous moment but people would have walked away alive.

  • @diddymuck Are you serious? - a car is made out of fucking metal, our skin, is not nearly as rough as metal, our bones, or muscles are not near to as rough as metal, our blood, is blood, alittle thicker than water, but that is about it.. A nuclear bomb, will make your flesh burnt, in seconds if you stood next to that house, car or whatever. The intense heat will defunction your brain, not to mention the radiation, "Instant cancer" and the shockwave that rips you apart, and kills you on the spot.

  • @TheRStard car? Bus! it rolled over but didn't explode or crush. Flesh burned in seconds? Trees didn't burn! Radiation of course will occur...in the form of fallout which has to touch you to injure.

  • @diddymuck Dude. It's metal, on a bus/car. THAT BURST INTO FLAMES IN A SPLIT SECOND. THE CARS WERE TURNED FROM BRIGHT COLORS TO A DARK BLACK CHARRED HEAP OF USELESSNESS. Now, imagine a human in place. Skin, vaporized right off the body, muscles ignited, bones shattered, instant carbonization... no pain whatsoever.

  • @jjrruu91 trees didn't burn!

  • @diddymuck Trees were most likely carbonized as well, and were far enough from the blast that effects of vaporization were minimal. Nukes don't have 6 trillion mile wide blast radii. They're actually only about 4 miles wide, destruction wise, crater wise only about 1.6 miles average.

  • @jjrruu91 unless your miles away or in a house...you dont even want to see the survivors

  • WHY would you fire a nuke from a Howitzer, that's pretty much suicide if anything, ANYTHING goes wrong.

  • All this shockwave footage in this video is not from the bomb launched from the cannon. The one launched was a very small nuke. Watch "Trinity and Beyond" to see what footage fits were ;)

  • 0:54 ... heaven scene starts ...lol

  • that was awesome... nuclear weapons, nuclear warfare, nuclear power.... it all kicks major ass.

  • it would be funny if you hear, "what the fu-BOOOOOOOOM!!!"

  • mother of all weaban hhhhhhhhh :) general game

  • Ah yes, the "Long Tom" Possibly the worst idea in the history of warfare. Let's put nuclear weapons under the command of a gunnary sargeant.....

  • @ReaktormanNr1 not quite that nuke travels about 2-3 miles and when the shockwave hits the object that's when you hear the sound, and speed travels about 500 mph keep in mind

  • 0:42 ohhh my house

  • why the hell is in every video an added explosion sound? The sound always comes right when it explodes and sounds those from a common action movie on TV...

    its just annoying!

  • fuck! pretty strong fireworks!

  • what are those lines when it exploded?

  • @hoodeddemon017 The shockwave

  • @hoodeddemon017 I forgot the name for the lines, but they are smoke trails from rockets fired about 10 seconds prior to blast. In short they use a high speed camera to later check how the shockwave bends and disrupts these lines against a gridded template background. It reveals the power of the blast... weird, but true.

  • Were those animals at 0:42?

  • @kingmanted Yep, pigs. Type in "nuclear test on pigs" on YouTube if you want to see more about that. I will warn you, it is graphic.

  • i just dont understand why we wont set one off like this again today. just once. for the HD footage. i think it would really be received well and feed the disarmament push.

or at least look frickin amazing.

  • i would give up everything i own to witness one of these in person it is just so amazing

  • Thats awesome

  • what are those things? 0:32

  • @Anusdhka that are dogs

  • 2 reasons why this is fake, 1. I don't think nuclear weapons are launched from cannons (might be wrong on that) 2. We would see the blast before we heard it.

  • @Keeweehz Its not fake, the sound is, but the video is real, this was a real nuclear test in the dessert

  • @Anusdhka but how did they film everything on this video right in the BIG BANG???

  • @Keeweehz yeah, you`re wrong.

  • Scary!

  • I know that bombs aren't exactly a good thing, but that looked really cool.

  • maby the camera was in a concrete bunker with a little hole for it to see out

  • i just shit myslef

  • i figured it out, it's satellite :-)

or a camera with 2000x zoom

  • Its a camera that can zoom damn far...

  • Comment removed

  • @csakesz182 satellite imagery don't take recoded vid. must be from a plane with great zoom capability

  • why the smoke is there/what does the smoke do there before the shockwave let them fly away

(sorry of my bad english, thats why i m german)i hope you understand what i mean

  • wow,,,,what kind of camera is that??????nuclear bomb cant destroy it,,,,,,,,,heheheh

  • it's a joke, the camera would thorn up the pieces or atoms or whatever :-/

  • Your right that was fucking fake lol

  • =( maaan.... its just not right...
