  • hmmthe tuning of the toms is strange^^

  • on the stagg did anyone have trouble with the stock hi-hat stand?

  • how long have u been playing? what drums are those

  • the time i'm able to play at home is for a bout 1 year.. this was my first kit.. a Stagg TIM.. but now i got a 6 piece Export EX.

  • U also have a Electrick set?

    That's a lot better dude, ;)

  • Thanks!!

Yes.. i've got also a electrick kit.. a Roland TD6-KX with the hi-hat from the TD12.

  • Roland TD rockt ook joh, ;)

    Cker de TD-12 en 20,

Mar die zijn wel ff wat duurder,

    hahaxD

  • klopt.. de drum module is alleen al €1000 van de TD-12.. en van de TD-20 is die drum module al €3000 :O

  • buy some dampening rings it will make them sound a lot better

  • Though it's only Stagg (aka. Noname) you can actually make quite something out of this kit. My brother has the same (with a different brand sticker on it) and with some proper heads, cymbals and a completely changed snare it gets pretty nice. Watch 10t2BP2C9go

  • ive got the same kit but in blue and im kinda embarassed to say i have the same kit after seeing this but im gonna get a vid up of it. sounds amazing. 22x16 bass 12x9 tom 13x10 tom 16x16 floor 13x 6 1/2 joey jordison signature snare 14,16,18in. b8 crash 20 inch sabian hand hammered 14in. zildjian china 8in. b8 splash you need to get a new snare stand with maybe more comfort in the brackets to take that ring out of the toms/bass and you can make this kit amazing
  • TUNE YOUR SNARE!!!!!!!!

  • Drumman the drum itself is good when you tune it and the heads you use.Pearl tama, yamaha, just paints the shell and uses different materials.

  • the materials to make the shells make all the difference, im not attacking u here but u cant say thats all they do (as if it wasn't much) the production is the whole part, but ur right u can find good sound out of anything, shit man the other day i was drumming on shit i found in my kitchen, fuckin sweet

  • stagg sux they arent worth the buy they r cheap and r horible.

  • so what do you think about that ride.. should i buy one too or do you have some better recomends in same price?

  • I realy like the sound of my Paiste 101 Ride!!

In my opinion it sounds nicer then the PST-3 or 5 Serie!

  • I almost made the same mistake buying a paiste 101 series. The Sabian B8 pack is about the same price of the pasite and have a better sound. Maybe a smaller splash would be better as well. Good set though! it looks nice, and keep practicing.

  • sick man i just got a new set and its the same one stagg TIM ..but please respond, u got different heads rite? bc mine arent NEARLY THAT NICE

  • On the Stagg i've used just the stock heads.

I've got now a Pearl Export EX with Remo Pinstripes on the toms, and a Remo C.S. Black Dot Coated on snare.

  • the toom's sounded reely good :D

  • nice cymbal!!! I LOVE PAISTE

  • "It's not so expensive" LOL

I have that crash and ride, they'r nice, splash sounds good too.

  • learn how 2 tune ur drums jesus.

  • in your opinion how would is drum sound better? and sujestion on tuning.

    Thanks

  • stagg sucks... i had the same kit and my snare skin and base drum skin tore after a month. also they are very loud

  • hoi

mooi drumsetje heb hem zelf ook maar effe een tip: doe je snaren vaster en tape ze in het midden vast met zilvere tape wel een beetje strak tapen

  • stagg suck! i got one when i was 10 and the paint on the snare came off on the first day i got it

no offence your a good drummer but its a shit kit nice cymbals

  • I like your rythm at the end.

And your video is very good !

  • lucky

  • hey man nice drums. Keep on rockin

  • You made the same mistake I did. You should've gotten a 10" or even a 8" splash. I think that 12" splashes are too big. So I just use mine as a crash.

  • I use my 12" Paiste 101 Splash some times like a crash too, but i have also now a 10" Paiste PST-5 Splash =)

  • pretty good timing man. like it, simple but realy good. :D but lossen up! xD nothin is better than a drummer who drums because it what he loves to do. i mean i no you probs have grouchy nieghbours but hey :L. but yeh nice one dude :D. and as for double bass youll get there in the end took em a little wile but youl get it.:D

  • yeh, i think i've already commented on this vid, but who gives a shit: don't look so tentative when you drum. give it some welly, for christ's sake.

  • yea stagg rulz i have one and yea its s starter kit but mean as

  • Not a bad starter kit at all. I might suggest tightening the snares on your snare, though.

Also, as far as the dampening on your toms go...I just tape wads of toilet paper to my toms and snare. It's cheap, and (in my opinion) works better than moon gels or studio rings because you can choose how much the drum resonates. Just a thought, though.

  • Ur kit is very nice... Not at all starter in my opinion...

  • you're from holland aren't you?

  • yes, im from holland (the netherlands) yeah =P xD

  • great video!

  • moon gels!

  • almost the same kit that i've got.

the problem with stagg kits is that if you hit the toms or the bass drum the snares will vibrate alot.

gr8 idea of doing a tour of your drums!

  • i agree - you need to tight up toms!

  • Hoi Len,

    Most excellent!!

    Natasha

    xoxo

  • you need to muffle your drums more. you can check out musicians friend DOT com and they have these things called moon gels. theyre dampning pads, and they make your drums less ringy and muffles your toms so they dont make your snare chain rattle on the snare resonant. good kit man. keep it up. ( you also might wanna change cymbals, paiste 101 dont sound good, you might wanna try the zildian zbt, they have those at the same site)

  • hehe :) nice :) i will set movie about my drums in future :)

  • The Crash is surprisingly good.

  • for paiste 101s and a stagg drumkit it actually sounds alright

    good job

  • gotta love paiste cymbals, i got the 201s, but my crash started to split, so im a little bummed, and i got an awesome 10' splash pst5, and an okay 18' rock china, alpha series

  • nice kit homie i like it

  • wow they do look similar!

  • im glad im ur friend um how do u like paiste cymbals ineed new cymbals and i love piaste plz reply me

  • I like the Paiste Cymbals i've got!!

They sound pretty good for there price!!

I got the Paiste 101 Brass Series.

    i've got the:

    12" Splash

    14" Hi-Hat

    16" Crash

    (i want also the 18" Crash/Ride)

    20" Ride

  • sweet well when i get my new set im gettin paiste rude the dark brown ones they are they greatest cymbals everand they sound amazing

  • Nice kit you have and great tour. You should have taken the sticks off the snare so that we could hear how it sounded. Like Roshan you don't have any muffling rings or anything. Cool stuff. Great cymbals too.

  • Nice! :D

alleen een beetje je snare hoger stemmen en dan is alles toppie ;)

  • Bedankt =)

    Zal ik doen!!
