one of the worst Halloween films I feel has the best mask, Resurrection. Although story wise this was a poor installment I still very much enjoyed this film like I do all the others.
I guess I'm just a hardcore fan of the series.
I even like the 2 latest remakes although they are different it's a more up to date version.

It's funny, I had a dream about Halloween last night that was a major crossover between it and InuYasha. Except Laurie was in Kagome's role and while running from Michael she stumbled on an old well boarded up inside an old shed. And just as Michael's about to burst in and get her, the centipede demon from episode 1, burst out and dragged Laurie down into the well with her. Then Michael was wearing InuYasha's rosary and Laurie shouted out "SIT BOY!" and Michael went crashing down face first.

And the Jason movies aren't better. The Jason movies have no plot, no characters we care about, and it's the same movie over and over again. This is basicly a Jason movie: Jason gets revived. He kills everyone but the final girl. That final girl ends up kicking his ass. Next movie: Same as the previous movie.

@REKONBALL2 Actually, the first movie that used the pov of the killer was Peeping Tom (1960). And you're right, Halloween wasn't the first slasher, but Halloween did start the 80s slasher craze. And Halloween was the first to have an unstoppable slasher (Michael Myers) and that is what Jason copied. Michael Myers was the original UNSTOPPABLE slasher. And Halloween was inspired by Psycho.

Michael wasn't the first slasher, but he was the first slasher to be a supernatural force that can't be stopped. The reason why people say that Jason copied Michael is because Jason was made to be unstoppable like Michael. Jason has the same characteristics as Michael except Jason isn't as creepy or scary as Michael is. Black Christmas wasn't first either. Psycho and Peeping Tom were.

Yes, I admit Black Christmas inspired Halloween as well. But the point you're not getting is that Michael was the first UNSTOPPABLE slasher. That's why people say he was original. Almost every slasher you see today have some killer that's unstoppable, which is mostly attributed to the Michael Myers character.
