Sadly our society defines any rights for queer individuals as special rights because the inadvisable privileged that existed for heterosexuals. Maybe as queer individuals challenge heteronormative family structures through same sex marriage we can brake down heternormativity everywhere. Maybe our society will realize that there are gay and lesbian children, and just because you were borne with a penis you don't have to act like a little boy to be healthy.
