As there are multiple bill currently in congress, please show the name and page number where the health care bill states it will provide abortions. Remember, that the bill would have to state it directly to supersede the current law. So a statement like reproductive care would be talked about birth control, pregnancy, STD ect and would have to have a direct statement about abortion coverage to qualify.

In California, abortions are already covered by the State if the applicant qualifies based on age and financial status, etc.

The federal plan does provide funding for reproductive services, which is a multitude of things including contraception, in addition to that, it does not cover ELECTIVE abortions. Please read the bill carefully.
