how would i be able to connect this to my car through the battery but for it to turn on only when i tturn the car on (as the stereo) without having the need of a switch so i can have it in my car all the time without it draining my battery

You could opt to utilize an inverter on any battery, deep cycle, sealed lead acid or what ever however on a standard car battery it would be ideal to run the engine if so equipped to maintain power as standard car batteries lack the amperage to sustain extended draw. For that I would recommend replacing you stock battery with a Group 27 or 29 DEEP CYCLE battery with a starting option like that found in marine applications.

@gianolrac No a combustion engine is not required however to perpetuate the flow of energy you naturally would need a power source, be it a gas generator, wind, solar or hydro. My I inquire as to the nature of your implements?

For 50Wts of power the drain would be nominal so therefore it's not an issue (A standard car battery unattached to a power source should last for many hrs at that threshold even if an alternator is turned off) Your charged car battery ought to last for some 20 Hrs. alone

I have always wanted one of these, we can't actually pick things out of our local dumps or land fills, but it could come in handy for tons of other things I am almost sure of.

@clubcar98 Well not this one however a slightly larger one will you can pick these up fairly inexpensively in around $30-$50 but you need to have atleast a 120 Amp alternator (car uses about 1/2) to power & provide a steady current. Still this would be the device of choice.
