White slaves didn't really work here because if they escaped into the "lovely white" (Ben Franklin's term for the country) they were near impossible to track down. Where was the intimidation? I say two guys talking with a woman looking on. The news anchor mentioned a scuffle, did I miss that? Why were the news guys so close to the door? The poll worker clearly said they should be 10 feet away from the property, and by law it is his call no matter how much the reporter wanted it not to be.

Where was Faux News when black voters were being disenfranchised? A majority of whites voted for Obama. I doubt the the Black Panthers in Philly had anything to do with that. What I can't figure out is why right-wingers despise him and why many on the Left act like he's a savior. Obama's a kinder, gentler neo-con, a mild Republican. When you hear of the 2008 election, just think about Tammany Hall back when William "Boss" Tweed was in power. The same sort of injustice took place. He used gangs and thugs to intimidate and influence voters.
Many of us that were paying attention knew this was going to happen. Obama is associated with these types of groups, including the New Black Panthers, Louis Farrakhan of Nation of Islam, former members of the Black Liberation Army, Rev. Wright(who hates America and whites), etc.
