I think most of the comments on YouTube from metalheads is a reaction to the many trolls who create these bullshit conflicts. Tech N9ne is badass. Also, so many of the best MCs today consider metal to be a huge influence, like Ill Bill, Necros, and Aesop Rock. Boondox and Blaze even played in metal groups earlier in their lives. There's a lot more commonality to the two genres than many believe.

i play guitar and im mostly into metal... for fun one day i decided to try and create a rap song with nord lead 2x (a synthesizer) and used reason for beats. It took me about 1 hr to compose the song and I must say it really does not take that much talent to create rap/hiphop... especially if i start to loop beats and parts of songs that are already created. Which is what alot of hiphop and rap artists do

Thats funny, take a look at my page at our music, Ropadodo, does everything. Hes a Lyricist/Vocalist/Producer. That means he makes a beat on a INSTRUMENT called a keyboard, from scratch by the way, writes his own lyrics, raps them, then mixes the vocal and instumental tracks to master it. None of those things are easy if you do it right. My money says you wouldnt be able to do any of that because you dont have the ABILITY to take nothing and make something.

Great vid, bro'! As a long-time metal fan, I am very passionate about that music. I think most of the comments on YouTube from metalheads is a reaction to the many trolls who create these bullshit conflicts. Tech N9ne is badass. Also, so many of the best MCs today consider metal to be a huge influence, like Ill Bill, Necros, and Aesop Rock. Boondox and Blaze even played in metal groups earlier in their lives. There's a lot more commonality to the two genres than many believe.

i play guitar and im mostly into metal... for fun one day i decided to try and create a rap song with nord lead 2x (a synthesizer) and used reason for beats. It took me about 1 hr to compose the song and I must say it really does not take that much talent to create rap/hiphop... especially if i start to loop beats and parts of songs that are already created. Which is what alot of hiphop and rap artists do

Music needs two things (or three), rhythm, melody, and clear structure; this kind of rap has all three. I've been wanting to get into some good rap lately, because I'm trying to be open minded about music, and this video is a great starter.

I'd be interested in hearing some that isn't about that, but chances are it'd be boring to me. I like Pantera and Devil Driver. meh, I used to listen to some of that. I got to get some new music, Metallica lost my respect when they changed their sound and got pussy, Iron Maiden is gay except when my friend sings "run to the hills" that shit is funny, and zep is good but old. Black Sab is good but old. Yea, I wish metallica wouldn't have switched it up, I was watching some old videos online the other day and it's really sad to see such talent turn into such crap.

Majority of people DON'T know about underground rap. Take dnt4get2takeabreath for example.. 80% of all comments I get is from some retard that doesn't know rap beyond 50 cent and soulja boy. there isn't a rapper in my video that sucks, I picked these artists for their variety of talents, and to say any of them sucks means you don't understand this art. Tech N9ne -all around sick, Apathy- Lyrical Genious, Atmosphere- real life story teller, Outkast- proving rappers can sing, Eminem-your an idiot if you think he sucks, jedi mind tricks- sick lyrical group, and Twiztid and Esham (at the end) was a song I think fitted the shit talkers, yuwanna hoe.

it's not how you classify music that makes the difference, it's what makes up the song; what defines the artist; the artist's talent and ability. and frankly, i don't think that rap involves any ability. it sure as hell doesnt require instrumental ability. for me, what defines the song are the instruments and what the artist's singing and playing capabilities, both of which rap doesnt involve.

First off, if rap takes no ability, why don't you get rich and do it, instead of going on rants on rap videos? Second, "for you" is for you, but for some it's the vocalists. Most people can't name a single member of slipknot but everybody knows who Corey is. Same wit every other band. Lastly and most importantly using your definition, metal vocalists must not have any talent because they don't play instruments. That's using your logic of why rappers don't have talent it jus don't make sense.

Thats funny, take a look at my page at our music, Ropadodo, does everything. Hes a Lyricist/Vocalist/Producer. That means he makes a beat on a INSTRUMENT called a keyboard, from scratch by the way, writes his own lyrics, raps them, then mixes the vocal and instumental tracks to master it. None of those things are easy if you do it right. My money says you wouldnt be able to do any of that because you dont have the ABILITY to take nothing and make something.
