It was not a capo: it was an improvised string dampener to quiet strings during legato playing. Some people use hair bands, socks, ect in leu of manufactured units costing $60-$90

Haha. I don't know how you can CHEAT on guitar by doing that. He just uses that to get that tone he needs.

David's pretty phenomenal. The only thing that I would hit him up about is his tone, which is too derivative of Joe Satriani. But geez, his vibrato and bends are outstanding and he has solid expression and fluidity. I really enjoyed this a lot.
