Lol, compared to the other shows, star trek ships are quite slow. Unlike star wars and other sci-fi, star trek battles are more tactical and is less about shoting everywhere but concentrates only actually hitting another ship :P this said, in star trek almost every ship is a mothership since their are almost no one maned fighters like x-wings or colonial vipers.

the empire has tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of Star Destroyers, has millions of other combat ships, and the shield levels for a SD is over 100 times greater than the Enterprises shields and much more firepower.

Even without its numerical superiority, one for one, a SD has firepower and shielding to stand up to at least 20 Star Trek Vessels alone. I dont know sheild lvls of StarGate even though it is my favorite show, and I do know that battle star has far less numbers than any of the other sides. So, empire wins any time, even though I would like to see Stargate or Starwars win, its just not possible looking at sheer size, firepower, numbers, and shields.

Ah, but don't forget, the replicators have pretty much infinite numbers, all they have to do is have a block of replicators attack to an SD, from there, even if just 1 makes it to the hull, they will spread out and take over the SD, gaining all of the ships technology in the process, and once you combine stargate's weapons with star war's insane power cores, each shot from that one replicator controlled SD will rival the death star's superlaser while its shields will be indestructible.

not to mention that the replicators can absorb energy weapons fire, making the storm trooper's blaster rifles completely useless. Even a sith or a jedi would be hard pressed to stop the replicators given how fast they can replicate, especially given a large power source. a single replicator could potentially bring the entire empire or republic to its knees if it landed on any ship or technologically advanced planet.

@CobaltX07 your taking the treky idea of the borg. the replicators are constintly fighting the asgard, but they still dont have all the tech the asgrads got

@bringerofshadow1 Actually they gained all Asgard technology except the time dilation device. The Replicators are sort of a cross between the Borg and Von Neumann machines. Especially in the Ark of Truth, where the Replicators actually assimilated someone.

@CobaltX07 im not shoure about that, in all space combat shown the replicators take many more ship casulties then the asgard. so it may be possible about the technology but thay are still infearior in some way

@bringerofshadow1 What ship battles exactly? The only major battle we saw with the Replicators was the battle of Dakara, where they weren't exactly taking heavy casualties. The only time the Asgard themselves were able to kill them was using Anti-replicator weapons (which they quickly adapted to Borg style) or by firing on them at 8 vs 1 with their shields down, or through some form of gorilla warfare.

1) That was not a ship battle, unless you're referring to the 8 vs 1 ambush by the Asgard when the Replicators had no shields. The casualties resulted from being outnumbered 8 to 1 and not having shields, it had nothing to do with technology.

2) The Replicators were defeated in that episode using Ancient, not Asgard technology (which they later adapted to).

bsg is too much like a damn soap to me, stories too drawn out.

stargate was just perfect until they screwed us over with the cancelation (movie was ok but way too short, and atlantis last season was mediocre at best)

star wars = classic win!
