There is an interview of a former US army major on CNN, (you can search it) saying that Pak' civl govt. only complains about the drone attacks as a drama, they have given full permission for the US to use drone attacks inside Pakistan, and that has created even more friction between the Pak Military and the civil govt. Again, its a matter of finding all the facts.

Well, it's difficult to stay neutral when you're dealing with Afghans. They have their own internal wars, and that' s what the US has been using since the invasion. Pak. was never against Shah Masud, but when al-qaeda killed him, all the tajiks blamed Pakistan, which is non-sense. Although in general, I totally agree, Pak. should stay neutral.

I am not discounting the possibility of Al-Qaida/CIA connection (post 9/11) but the idea, for me, seems too far-fetched. Abdullah Mehsud was a Taliban fighter who was captured by the Americans, he was sent to Guantanamo Bay for 3 years, he spent 3 years in Guantanamo Bay!
