To be honest, I don't like the John Mayer sterilized version of Stevie. He tries, but he is more of a technician than musician for me.

thank you! i have 2 fender strats, a srv model and a frankenstrat (the one in this vid) the body's a japanese 62 reissue, the neck's an american standard and the pickups are lace sensor holy grail. My amp's a blues deluxe reissuse and in this vid i was playin through a boss blues driver =D

Thank you a lot = D The pickups are lace sensor holy grail. I think the neck had a lot to do with the tone too, and i changed it. I kinda regret it in a way. I like the tone of the old one better but the look and feel of the new one better.

How did you get that sound? A strat, but what amp do you use, efects? I've tried to get that sound for 20 years soon now, but i have failed so far. I meen, you sound just like Stevie. Thank you!! I use a blues deluxe amp and i was using a blues driver pedal. HOnestly tho, I think the sound you're talking about could be the mic on my computer. It made it sound different than it really did. But yeah, i love to jam to Tin Pan Alley :)
