@Anarchyffan "gay music is gay" ... is that a revelation dude? whatever someone thinks is gay... will appear gay. Just like a retarded person... is retarded.
@MrPelu96 That exercise is not that advanced and anyone can start doing if a few reps at a time and work up to more. The conditioning and muscle gains take time, and sticking to a full body workout routine where you hit all your muslce groups. Stick to a routine and results will slowly follow, just not immediatly.
@gtstarboi4lyf I use to combine both... I like dumbell curls for the biceps. Bicep is the hardest muscle to isolate with bodyweight, because the back gets involved. The exercise in the vid will eliminate just about all the back if done right and elbows flared out, but it working like a hammer curl on the brachialis, so you still need something for the main bicep muscle like a curl.
Hey Fazio, I know it seems silly but what can I do to improve my pull ups/chin ups? I can only do a few but I definitely want to change that as I know how important body weight training is.
@MuscledSquirrell try to work 2 different muscles per workout day. And make 3 different workout days to hit all your muscle groups for the week. Use 2-3 exercises on each muscle group when its the day for it. Back for example... Wide grip pullups, explosive pullups with grip width change every rep, and muscle ups... Shoulders do handstand pushups against the wall and practice toward freestanding ones.
@pkhamidar2com Back is all bodyweight exercises. Wide and close grip pullups, explosive muscle ups on pullup bar, muscle ups on rope ladder, and the pullup variation that i do in alot of my vids where i pull the bar to the waist while swinging the body flat out. Its in my vid extreme calisthenics. When i do my pullups i will do some slow and controled and others explosive with change of grip width each rep
@Alberigo121 switched out all weight exercises with advanced bodyweight stuff. I bought a entire hex dumbell set last year so i still use them for dumbell curls and shrugs so they dont go to waste..
HOLY FUCK DAWG! u got som mad power, saw ur vids and keep em up, if only u practice some technique on the heavy bag then ull be fuckin super beast man
How long have you been with weight before you move on to calisthenic?
The only 2 weight exercises I do now is Squat and Bench, some bicep curls to look good in the mirror.
The only thing suck about my pull up is the recovery rate. I can always do 13-15 reps on my first set, but on 2nd set onward I barely get 7. Hey, post your real work out routine sometimes. I just restarted my training 2 months, might need some idea.
@cutevil hey bro, thanks for the post. I switched off the weights about a year ago to all bodyweight. Still use weight for shrugs, and db curls... but thats it now. You are most likely losing your reps because your repping to failure on your first set. Practice stopping a few away from failure and you wont fatigue the muscles so fast. i do splits. 3 workouts a week. 2 different muscles per workout. Every muscle worked once for the week.
@cutevil part 2...... 2-3 exercises per muscle during its designated workout day. Maximize muscle growth and strength by working that muscles stabilizers with the use of (rings, handstands planches), endurance fibers (with high reps), and explosive fibers by doing low reps of explosive exercise reps.
@Fazioenterprise I'm collecting all the non-weight exercises I can go in 5-10 reps. I'm designing a 300 reps work out. Basically I will input all the exercises names into an app which will pick and display one randomly whenever I click 'next'. The timer is set for exactly 1 hour. I'll do whatever exercise the app tell me to, then 'next', with as little rest as possible, so that within 1 hour I can reach the accumulative 300 reps. Weight can be utilized as long as it's well prepared before hand.
@cutevil Heres some good ones... handstand pushups against the wall, dips, hanging knee or leg raises, diamond pushups, wide and medium grip pullups, this video exercise for biceps, one hand pushups, explosive pushups off the ground, pistol squats....
@Fazioenterprise I've tried the program yesterday (no app yet, just pen and paper). I ended up having to cheat with a lot of 15-20 reps exercise for time was running out and I couldn't reach 300.
Great to hear that you think total reps is more important than those reps to failure! I always felt guilty when I save some reps!
U think overhand wide grip pullups is all thats needed for overall forearm development, since you say it replaces any need for hammer curls, which is what most use to develope forearms? Is the point here to develop the body without the use of external weights, but using body weight only? BTW, this is the first time (I think) you've ever actually posed/flexed in a video. You're beginning to look like a competitive bodybuilder! Noticed the perfect christmas tree in your lower back also!
@StevenSWM the pullup has to bring the bar behind the head or to the top of head with elbows flared. I stopped using weights on just about everything but select few exercises, to make better bodyweight exercise progressions and build more functional strength... You can do hammer curls for years but may not be able to do any or just a few behind the head pullups. I find the strength and power from the bodyweight weight exercises i do now, uncomparable to when i was using weights.
@Fazioenterprise Aren't your exercises doing actually more damage on the shoulders and articulations? I looks like pretty intense strain on the joints in most of your videos. Still thanks for the inspiration.
Interesting clip. I have a question: since I have gotten conflicting info. on behind the nck pull ups - some sourcs say they are good and some they are bad - what is your take on them? Actually, I do some of them, having found no ill-effects.
@rmsolympic1 No problems for me with them... If they are uncomfortable due to the arm postitioning being farther back then pull the bar to the top of the head instead will work. Behind the neck it is hitting the brachialis on the contraction and pulling the bar to the top of the head is working it more on the stretch of the muscle.
@CODGOD321BOOM yes good question! I do this vid exercise, standing dumbell curls with supination, and and climbing on my rope ladder & apparatus setup. The exercise in the video will replace any need for hammer curls or reverse grip curls.

do you lift weights or you just do body weight stuff?
I think weight lifting is easy and pretty boring so I just do pull ups and push ups.

did you get your arms that big from bodyweight exercises only or were you big from weights before you switched to only calisthenics.
