  • Eric Clapton is the King of Guitar

  • cjwigsly,

Eric Clapton is a music legend, famous worldwide, and you're just a guy pretending you know some shit about music. I'm sure Clapton got more talent in his facial hair than you in your whole body. Show some respect.

  • Eric Clapton you are a god ...

  • .. damn then your religion is hopeless..

  • then stop watching it moron!!

  • good idea.. everyone should follow

  • Are you kidding? lol.

I must admit, your message did make me laugh. He's up there with Jimmy Page, Carlos Santana, Jimi Hendrix and all the other Guitar Gods of this age. Copycat musician? Please.

  • hes showing respect to big bill broonzy with this "cover"..

  • The best.

  • man your are soooo great-.-

    ...you better go home

  • moron

  • clapton is god

  • Supr vole!

  • thats tallent!!

  • Originally, Big Bill used to call this the Guitar Shuffle.

  • The Riff is so amazing!

  • amazing

  • awesome voice and great guitar skills, a rare combination.

  • this song is created by big bill boonzy.

But eric claptons version is cooler

  • I couldn't agree with you more. Clapton brings Broonzy's song to life.

  • I completely agree with you. Clapton's version brings Broonzy's song to life.

  • such a fuckin badass song

  • What a great song...one of my favorites. It's amazing how he just does this all while almost looking bored even though I'm sure he's havin a blast

  • it can be played with one guitar as i can do it. very good song.

  • William Bryan Campbell.....died by suicide March 16th 2008....his fiftieth birthday...he is missed everyday.....This song was one of his favorites....he was and is my pops...i'm 25 and love Clapton blues...thank you for posting this vid

  • R.I.P.

  • RIP indeed sorry to hear about your dad

  • best guitarist ever... i think.

  • now i see why they call him slowhands

  • wow, he makes it look so easy... look at his eyes, he looks so relaxed.

  • I can play most of this song, but I get confused to which parts are played by the other guitar, and which are played by Clapton. Obviously it is impossible to play with just one guitar easily!

  • It isnt when your Big Bill Broonzy.

  • CLAPTON IS GOD

  • mmm is just a methaphora...

  • shit yeah he is

  • this man is absolutely amazing...

i feel blues into my heart.. i'm not an american or british(like clapton) i'm peruvian but i love blues.....

  • wit does unplugged mean? ^

  • as in the guitar is not plugged into an amplifier. just a acoustic guitar and classical guitars.

  • doesnt it just mean "not electric guitar" like some unplugged concerts have the acoustic guitars plugged into amps.. not necessarily mic'ed

  • yes i suppose but this version is just miced. any acoustic is classed as unplugged

  • Unplugged means "Not Connected"

  • let me begin by saying that i think eric clapton is one of the top 10 or even top 5artists of all time, much higher than the #53 that rolling stone magazine ranked him. i also think he is the #1 guitarist of all time, better than jimi hendrix and higher than the #4 that rolling stone ranked him. having said that, he does have a way of making music "un-fun". listen to the bill broonzy version of this song for comparison. i know it's the blues and all, but eric needs to lighten up a bit sometimes.

  • Maybe you don't understand... a year before this concert his 5 year old son, Connor, fell out a NYC appartment window over 20 stories and died. I don't know about you but it would take me more than a year to get over that.

And besides, I've NEVER thought of any of this album's music as "un-fun". It's just laid back. Every song on it is great.

  • Clapton!!!

  • clapton rules, he's a bludy genius!!!!!!!

  • At the time Clapton learned this tune he probably only had an old recording to learn from and not BBB footage on youtube.

  • 1992 was the best year ever! Great people were born in that very year! xD

  • Absolutly right, I was born 3 days after this show. Great year xD, Clapton's God !

  • thank God someone finally posted this vid!

  • eric clapton doesn't NEED a rythm guitarist. andy fairweather-low was invited on the show to play alongside him for all of the songs.

  • Because pay more attention to fanciness than groove. I think it was said here before somewhere in the comments and I just can't disagree; Broonzy does put a lot more drive into it.

  • great thats what i wanted to see :D

  • Clapton in action! :)

  • pretty good, thanks for the video. and thanks clapton.
