I am sorry to inform the fellow who is researching this fruit and feeding it to people, that the berries he's serving look almost rotten, and you can distinguish a fresh miracle fruit by it's still having a hair like projection at the tip of the fruit, a firm glossy red, and also the little stem where it was attached to the tree should still be attached. Each berry has enough miraculin to dose up around 30 people, the fruit also does not take more than one or two seconds to coat your tongue.

I should get that berry extracted and then sprinkled on kiwis because my tongue is practically on fire whenever i eat those sour kiwis!

Ya know, I've never tried it with kiwis, but I bet that would actually work really well and make the kiwis taste doused in sugar. Let me know how it works!
