Its fairly easy to hear that stuff is garageband made, even though some of it has some use as background music for plays etc. But you cant seriously tweak anything in Garageband :S

Well actually it still does have something of my own creativity when I write the melodies that are in the song (not made entirely of loops). I don't expect to become famous using garage band---I just use it whenever I have a tune in my head that sounds good, sort it out, make a song---all for fun. The one that I made sounds like it fits the genre of the 10 or more techno songs in my iTunes library, but it's unique enough to recognize.
